Highly recommend this barber shop. This is the first time I went there. The interior is clean and bright. They seem to take 1 reservation at a time because of COVID. The owner (Jimmy) wore a masks all the time and wiped everything before moving to the next customer. That made me feel safe. Jimmy did a great job cutting Asian women's hair. He communicated well before starting. The price is good for their service.

I got a curly hair perm from Jimmy. The whole process was efficient and comfortable, and I love the results! It's exactly what I wanted. I really appreciate how affordable it was too, even with how much hair I have. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'll be sure to return whenever I need work done on my hair again!

As someone who is a little too particular with my hair, I was hesitant to try a new salon. I have always entered salons nervous, thinking about everything I need to say before hand to ensure a perfect hair cut and to minimize any mistakes that will leave me unsatisfied with my hair. Upon arrival at Le Gala Hair Group, I did not feel this sensation of nervousness at all. Jimmy kindly greeted me, and we got started with my haircut right away. He told me about his life, and we had a great conversation while he listened to all my requests and even informed me on the process of perming the hair.

Jimmy is incredibly skilled in his craft, being precise with his cuts and listening to every single detail I requested. Not only a great stylist, but a great person as well! He made the environment welcoming and I haven't had a better salon experience in my life. Genuinely one of the best haircuts I've ever had. If I am ever back in the Boston area, I will be going back to Jimmy...

Called on Saturday afternoon and got a Sunday evening appointment over the phone. Scheduling and the haircut itself was easy and convenient.

My haircut was with Jimmy; I asked to keep as much length as possible but get rid of weight (I have really really thick, longer Asian hair). He was efficient, both friendly and honest, and accommodating throughout the process. I have never had a haircut this good and the price was so reasonable (no post-haircut upcharge, too)- seriously, my hair has never felt this light at this length.

6/4/18 (Asian M) I went here once so far, and I would recommend this place. Jimmy is funny and honest. I showed him a picture of the hair I wanted. He told me to grow it out instead of shaping it up. He doesnt try to take your $ - only does what is necessary.

He said about 80% of his customers are students and the rest are working individuals or profs. No info about gender, hair-type or race.

My $35 haircut went as follows: Arrive hairwash w 3 different products cut Wash w 1 or 2...
