After an employee agreed to make a rare exchange for me, I was excited, shopped around and was never asked if I needed help by any of the employees. Upon checking out, about 20 minutes later the register had 3 additional/new staff. When I got to the register I asked if both were open because I was not greeted promptly. Then I explained what I was told about the rare exchange to one young man and another man interjected w/o introducing himself and began drilling me about who the employee was and what he looked like. It was so uncomfortable that I even had to say that it was getting awkward. When he finally found the man that agreed to do the transaction (confirming by race), I told him I felt like I was being interrogated and he interjected again to justify his actions, furthering his confrontational ways instead of simply minding his business. Manager or not. I appreciate the favor from Wilson for doing the exchange. Quality of store? Nice shoes. Staff? Ew. I would’ve never handled it that way as a former customer/sales...
Read moreTheir store manager needs better training, he’s so confrontational, only cares about cutting you off, not letting you talk and trying to prove you’re wrong and he’s right. He’s quick to throw his own employees under the bus too and say they don’t know what they’re talking about. The manager actually refused to sell me a pair of sneakers and then made up some lie for why he won’t even though I saw the same exact sneakers in the other outlet store. The rest of the store employees are very nice and helpful checking in on me asking me how I’m doing and the layout of the store is better organized and more spacious than Assembly square. I used to like shopping here more too, but I’ll gladly be shopping in Somerville from now on if I never have to see that manager again. Shame too, I would think he would be more concerned with making a sale, but he’s happier having customers leave dissatisfied with their experience. Poor reflection on the rest...
Read moreIn love with this place every time I go I get something the prices and reps who work for store very nice. My only complaint is they don't have much selections for women who fathers had long feet and they too are cursed with longer feet have in their store. They might have 3 pair to choose from. Where as if you a size 6 there is 6 pair to choose from that's not fair. They should offer the same amount. Better yet have store to give notifications of when new selections of shoes come in and larger size come in for women. Most of the time because of my disappointment of not enough selections for women of longer feet I go to men sneakers if and only if narrower. Other than that I will leave and not get sneakers. Perhaps a shirt or pants and sometimes nothing. The prices again are nice and people work their are to glad...
