These people are incompetent and this store should be closed, all employees fired and then the team rebuilt from the ground up. We ordered something to pick up in store, and the email confirming the order stated this:
Please wait to pick up your order We will send another e-mail notifying you when your order is ready for pickup. This notification will arrive in less than 45 minutes, as it takes us just a little time to get items ready for pickup in our stores.
We waited over an hour, never received the email and decided it was just a glitch and headed to the store. We waited for twenty minutes before we got so much as a "hi" despite watching numerous employees goof off. By the time we were spoken two it was roughly two hours after the order was placed. Note the email above says that your confirmation stating that your order is ready would arrive in under 45 minutes. When we finally spoke to an employee she stated that our order was NOT ready. I read her the portion of the email in question that clearly states a confirmation email should have been sent in under 45 minutes. She then told me it can take up to 8 hours to fill these orders. What? For an item that is either on the shelves or in back stock? This makes no sense. She did NOT offer to have anyone look for it, she did not instruct me to wait and see what she could do, she basically said come back in 8 hours. While we had this conversation I watch 5 employees standing around joking with each other about their lives. Needless to say, I will always make the extra trip down to the Braintree store, as this store is unacceptable. When I called customer service to cancel my order, she was STUNNED at what the employee had told me and confessed that she hears a lot of terrible things about that store. I'm not really upset with Best Buy here as a corporation, this was all about this particular store...
Read moreTheir customer service on the floor left much to be desired when a sales agent had us looking for an item, needed for work, in the wrong section near the "back" of the store. This particular Best Buy seem to be either under staff or not very organized. We fonally ask another employee who told us where we could find the item, in the right sectoon, near the "front" of store. However, it did not end there, just we got to the register with only one sales person, they were walking away to help someone else and we were left waiting...and waiting for someone to check us out. The cashier at the Customer Service counter said, while assisting someone already, we could come there but by then the other employee was returning. Oh and did I mentioned, when we first arrived and began our search, an employee look us in the eye, they have been helping another customer, but did not a knlwledge us even only to sed if we just need to know where to find something and not actually be waited on because she was already helping someone. That us a fsr more professional way to handle customer service on the floor than to see customers that be in need and make eye contact but then basiczlly blow them off and keep walking without so much as a word, a smile, asking if we need help finding something, or a "I (or someone) will be able to asist you shortly....just saying. I work two job and I have my own, I know how customer service (or just good manners) should be and that wasnt it. All that being said, my experience there has not been all bad. I have shop there before and this happen later in the evening, during the mid day hours or morning; not so bad....not completely different but there are at least more knowledgeable and courageous staff. Hence, getting some stars as oppose to none. Best Buy is not a horrible store, I would shop there again hoping it was an...
Read moreI recently went to Best Buy, and let me tell you, it was like a nerdy amusement park.
First off, the store was massive. It was like I was in a technology wonderland. Everywhere I looked, there were TVs, laptops, and gadgets as far as the eye could see. I felt like I was on some kind of geeky safari, exploring the wilds of the digital world.
The employees were also a hoot. They were like tech wizards, answering my questions with lightning-fast speed and a level of knowledge that made me feel like a total Luddite. And when I couldn't figure out how to use the latest smartwatch, they were like tech therapists, calming me down with phrases like "It's okay, technology can be tough sometimes."
Speaking of technology, the gadgets at Best Buy were like a nerd's dream come true. I saw drones, virtual reality headsets, and smart home devices that made me feel like I was living in the future. I even saw a robot that could dance like nobody's watching. It was like a scene straight out of a science fiction movie.
But let's talk about the snacks. The snacks at Best Buy were like a nerd's paradise. I had a bag of Doritos the size of a small child, and I swear they tasted like they had been blessed by the tech gods themselves. And don't even get me started on the energy drinks. They were like little bottles of liquid genius that I couldn't stop guzzling.
The overall atmosphere was just electric. Even the little kids were getting in on the action, playing with the latest video games and pretending to be tech superheroes.
Overall, I highly recommend Best Buy for a fun and nerdy shopping experience. Just be prepared to be surrounded by some of the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic techies you'll ever encounter. And don't forget to bring your appetite for Doritos and...
