Our annual family reuniand was at the wonderful Gilford location. With acres of private setting, including a large pool, hot tub, outdoor seating and outdoor bar, there were plenty of good times shared during our weeklong stay. There is also a firepit where we enjoyed toasting marshmallows and watching the meteor shower. This was one of the most well stocked kitchens i've ever seen. The large living room with vaulted ceiling and very comfortable reclining couch was a plus. I wish I could get the make a model of the mattress on the 1st floor bedroom nearest the kitchen because it was extremely comfortable for both of us! There is more than enough to do in the area with swimming in crystal clear lakes, museums, gift shops, hiking, kayaking, delicious food (lobster roll at Sawyers) and, of course, the mountains. We took the late afternoon boat ride at Weirs Beach but be forewarned...do not order the cocktails as they are not very tasty. There are plenty of towels and 2 washers/dryers. What a great place to spend a few days in Boston! Close to a bunch of great spots in southie (both nightlife and food options). Plus it’s very easy to get to the rest of the city for a good time.

We had a great time and the property was very well-kept! It’s in a prime location in Southie and we really enjoyed being able to get around so easily. It’s also very close to the airport so it’s a prime location with regards to those traveling in from out of town. The owners did a great job communicating with us throughout the booking process and all the way through our stay.
