Great RV Park, Great Staff, Great Camping Experience!! I had a last minute change of plans and called Canyon Trail RV Park after finding them on Google Maps (the app). I needed another place to camp for the night and I was happy to find they had space. When I arrived, – was very helpful with getting my reservation set up and I was into my spot in 20 mins. The easy pull through was great even though I only have a van conversion but still, it was a breeze getting hooked up. The electrical box and sewer are well maintained and easy to use. I was hooked up and ready for the night in no time. They have Free WiFi, a Dog run area, Laundry, Cable TV, BBQ Area, Pool and Spa. Just about everything you need, not to mention beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and landscape. Lots of photo opportunities right there in the park. The restrooms are close by and very clean. This is always a plus for me. Cleanest I seen in a while! I was also impressed with the office set up. Clean and organized with a store for getting supplies, souvenirs and a cup of coffee. The space I was in was on gravel, no dust or dirt flying and that’s a plus too because it can get a little windy in Boulder City. I had close neighbors who were friendly and the nights were very quiet.I felt safe and secure in Canyon Trail RV Park. I highly recommend this RV Park for anyone who needs a quick overnight or extended stay. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks to Tasha, Kevin and Vicki for all your help, the Good Sam discount and making my unplanned stay Easy, Fun and Affordable.

Nevada in July is HOT! We checked out of our previous place a day earlier, just to go to come to this RV park. Pull in spots for easy in and out with your trailer. Full hook up spot too!! And this place had a pool in the July Nevada heat, at a cool 60 degrees, not sure how they do it, but it's so refreshing out when it's 117 degrees outside!! My two girls and I loved it, didn't want to get out, but that SUN is intense!! Bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious, no fee to use them either, maybe that's only a CA thing. Very close to Hover Dam, 20 min drive to Vegas, lots of stores, places to eat...also has a nice washer and dryer area too, only 1.75 to use each. It's over near the pool so my husband drove and hung out at the laundry spot. Another nice camper even gave me her dryer who still had alot of time left over for my own clothes to dey. Just be careful of that wind. Don't leave your canopy out, thankfully we were in the trailer, but almost lost it. Another camper said yea, don't leave them out during the day unless ur using it. Otherwise this was one of my top 5 RV parks in our 5 week cross country trip, maybe even my top 3 place!!

I love this place. The park is well managed, it's convenient to Bootleg Canyon which has incredible views of the dry lake bed and trails for mountain bikers. It's also walking distance to the shops, grocery store, and restaurants in downtown. If you go down the hill a bit, there are stunning views of Lake Mead. Boulder City is a beautiful place and if you're an RVer and you're looking for a place to stay while you visit the Hoover Dam / Lake Mead / Las Vegas, this is it.

This rating would be zero if that was an option! I read reviews praising the staff. I had the exact opposite experience. I have never been treated with such vile disrespect by RV park staff in over 30 years of camping in all 48 lower states. I have stayed here 3 times only out of medical necessity. On the 1st visit, I got yelled at from across the park by a staff member after my dogs stepped onto a corner lot, a huge violation for the "Snowflakes". I then got "Red Flagged" to not return after the 3rd visit for something that was a flat out lie and did not happen. I was told that I was rude to staff member(s) and they had a meeting with me about it. Neither ever occurred and no explanation was ever provided. I sent 2 emails requesting clarification that went unanswered. This is a terribly rude and inconsiderate way to treat customers, especially a Veteran! Other than a reasnable location, this park has several issues. It is overpriced with steep increases for both RV length and amperage used, the dump hookups are too high to drain properly, the internet is unusable, and the cable TV is unreliable. Since they are one of the only parks in the area they can take advantage of RVers. Save yourself some unneeded stress, disrespect, and lack of appreciation for your hard-earned dollars and stay elsewhere! I was totally prepared for the dishonest response from park ownership. I called to make another reservation only because I was totally unaware of any offense and no staff member ever communicated anything to me. No 180 was made other than by management. To this date, no one has responded to my emails or called to discuss this. The owner can only disparage bad reviewers and has no stones to contact the accused offender to explain himself. This is guaranteed a case of mistaken identity. Sadly the person who committed the alleged offense is probably still staying at the park. Very sad! This can be remedied easily with a simple phone call and explanation. I will then revise or remove...

So a bit of a fiasco with Good Sam. When I made the reservation they couldn’t find my membership – even though I was holding the card in my hand. The young lady said to bring the card with me when I checked in. Noted on the confirmation email that it was contact less check-in. When we were close, I called to get the GS discount. The woman who answered said sorry once we charge your card we can’t change it. It’s not fair to give the discount if you bought GS after making the reservation (which I didn’t). We can’t do that for everyone or we wouldn’t make any money. Um, what? If you are offended by GS, then stop honoring it. Anyway, moving along. Interior roads are paved with pea size gravel in the sites. The sites are pretty close and even closer on the perimeter where they have shared utilities. Our site was a mostly level pull thru that just fit the motorhome. We parked the toad in a small space between us and the next RV. We assumed this was ok as there were no instructions given. There are no picnic tables and no fire pits. There are many long term, and the sites are fairly neat. The WII FI worked ok. Verizon was 4g 4 bars. Satellite would not be a problem, and they have cable but we didn’t try it. There is a small pool near the office. It is very, very windy! It is an easy 8 mile drive to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. Boulder City has a cute historic downtown – a little green oasis amidst all the brown. There are lots of Mediterranean style homes with sweeping views of Lake Mead. Due to the inadequate customer service and overpriced nightly fees, we would not...
