I’d like to start off by saying that this was not a great experience. Wasn’t 1 star worthy, nor 5 star. First off, entered and noticed that the employees were talking to eachother and not doing any work. Super unprofessional. Then, they took forever to come and help us at the counter. Not a big deal though because I came in with someone who had never been to a DQ before and I was trying to explain the menu. (We were not in the way of any customers because there weren’t any the whole time we were there.) Next, they kept saying “are you ready yet?” To which I kept replying “no we’re not gonna be ready for a minute. I’m reading the menu.” Super annoying when they keep coming up to me. I know it’s their job but like come on. Do something to keep yourself busy while I read the freaking menu. Then, we ordered. A little while later we got out blizzards. I asked if I could get a sundae cup lid on mine because it was way overfilled and they were confused on what I was talking about. They were acting like I was speaking another language or something. Not to mention, my blizzard wasn’t mixed at all and it was MELTED!!!!! I wanted to throw it at them and make my own. I could do better than that. (The sundae cup lids fit on the blizzard cups.) Whoever is training these wacko employees needs to do better because they clearly don’t know the difference between a simple lid. Very unsatisfied. You know what? After writing this review, I’ve decided to go from 3 to 2 stars. Good luck DQ. Pls get some better employees. And for gods sake, please don’t find some randos on the...
Read moreWe had lunch at this Dairy Queen in May, 2023. We only have a chili cheese dog since we wanted ice cream as a treat. The first server who waited on us was very friendly. We ate our dogs, then went back for a couple of sundaes. The second server was noticeably unfriendly compared to our first server. She was not rude. But only spoke when necessary. The lunch was good. Maybe not the best flavor we have experienced at Dairy Queen. But it was okay. The store itself was noticeably older in its decor and pictures. Wear and tear was noticeable right down to rust on the bottom of the freezer. Although older and well used. The restaurant seemed adequately clean. Bo we were not doing close inspections. But things did look fairly clean. We had a decent little lunch/treat and we on our way. I don't want to sound like I'm knocking this Dairy Queen, because that was not my intention. Although it seems a little older. It served its purpose in providing us with aquick lunch for less than $20. It was adequately clean and right on our way. As such, I would...
Read moreAll things set aside, we all know Dairy Queen because of their Blizzards, not so much their food menu. This particular Dairy Queen has an average drive thru wait time and more times than notes, forget to give you utensils when you order food. They no longer offer fried food menu options. The fried food options have now been replaced with charbroiled menu options. My son usually gets the fried chicken strips, but since they are no longer available, he ordered their replacement - charbroiled chicken bites. He said the pieces were dry to which I thought he was just a mad 7 year old who didn't get exactly what he wanted so he's going to complain. However, to my dismay, he was totally right. Even when drenched with dipping sauce, they still came.up short. Prices are outrageously high for the portions you receive. We paid over $30 for 2 small Blizzards, 1 charbroiled chicken bites meal and 1 cone. Definitely highway robbery, but those Blizzards...
