If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I totally would! I moved to CO from LA and was a loyal customer at Laser Away in Sherman Oaks for YEARS. When I moved states, I was happy to see there was another LaserAway near me but was also very worried. I had my girls where I previously lived for so long and built so much trust. Obvi, I was very weary coming to a new location.
Immediately upon entering I was greeted by Bethany who is such a light and such a positive person. She eased my worries about coming to a new location with new people for fillers and facials and immediately recommended folks on the team that are excellent and go above and beyond. What is even more sweet is she immediately remembered me my second visit (now I’ve been there 4x). I know it may not mean much to other people, but I know they likely get patients in and out of there on a daily basis so it really does feel great that they remember the folks that walk in and follow up.
I had a touch up with one of their nurses who left my lips exactly as I wanted them. The following treatments I received were Clear and Brilliantly and a hydra facial. Both Bethany and Nurse Brooke recommended a Hydra Facial after the clear and brilliant (about a week spaced out) to really get the gunk out of my pores and any dead skin off and I’m SO happy I added the hydra facial! I never got one done before and nurse Brooke was SO knowledgeable and answered the many questions I had about it. I’m now adding the hydra facial to my monthly routine and I have both of them to thank.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly welcoming staff, who made me feel right at home in their clean and modern facility. The pre-consultation was thorough, with the team taking the time to explain the procedure and address all my questions.
I am a physician, so I took the time to research different medical spas and the laser and safety profile of different lasers used. They use the cynosure apogee elite laser which has both an Alexandrite laser and a high-powered Nd:YAG laser which is a long wave laser which bypasses the melanin in the skin and goes straight to the hair folicle- which can safely and effectively treat clients with darker skin reducing the chance of burning and hyperpigmentation. Natasha a skilled nurse performed my first session. She was professional and comforting, and made me feel at ease throughout the process. The session was quick and efficient and I couldn’t believe how comfortable I was through the procedure thanks to the SmartCool technology which uses cooling technology to blow cold air onto your skin before during and after the treatment.

Read morePlease be cautious and think twice before dealing with Laser Away. I was required to prepay just to book an appointment and purchased two services: filler and Thermage. The sales representative assured me that the Thermage treatment was available at their Boulder location. When I arrived for my appointment several days later, I was informed that they couldn’t provide the filler treatment. When I asked if I could receive the Thermage treatment that day instead, they attempted to upsell me on a significantly more expensive skin procedure, claiming it would be better for my skin. To push the upsell further, they even offered financing to incentivize me to buy it.
When I declined, I discovered that they don’t even have a Thermage machine at this location. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, multiple representatives refused to issue one. The company engaged in several predatory practices, including selling services based on misleading information, aggressive upselling tactics, and denying refunds. Their actions clearly demonstrate a lack of transparency and respect for customers.
