I don't know what's going on at this Aldi, maybe new management or maybe the same old manager who just doesn't care, but this place has gone downhill. It is an absolute disaster inside. The floors are filthy. There are empty boxes still on the shelves from where the items were taken out. Why isn't an employee going through the aisles to collect the empty boxes and bring forward the boxes with the products in them? I am constantly moving the empty boxes so that I can get to what I need. The fruits and vegetable section is ALWAYS filthy and ALWAYS a disaster. The "Aldi finds" section looks like a hurricane went through with NO EFFORT by any staff to clean it up and make it look presentable. It's actually embarrassing. I saw only ONE employee tonight going through and collecting the empty cardboard boxes. Kudos to that guy! Why is there only ONE CHECK OUT LINE if there are 5 self check out lines?? Can you make it clear and separate the regular check out lines from the self check out lines? Why is the line CONSISTENTLY back into the dairy section? UNACCEPTABLE! Why are there shopping carts not pushed into the cart corral that are accumulating by the front door? Why is an employee not walking out into the parking lot or to the cart corral to make sure that everything is tidy? There are often Aldi shopping carts left in the parking lots. I literally made $0.75 one day by taking all of the carts from the parking lot back up to the cart corral. That is unacceptable . Over the last several months, many items have not been stocked... Organic eggs, cucumbers, large cheese pizza, certain frozen veggies, keto bread, sour cream, Aldi brand hummus.... just to name a few. And I don't want to hear the excuse of "supply chain problems or inflation". That is all BS. The pandemic is over and the shelves should be fully stocked! I honestly can't shop at this Aldi anymore. That's why I'm leaving this review, because that place is just so horribly managed that I cannot continue to give my money to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile getting in the line the manager Nicki told me the line was closed. So I went to another line. Because of a word exchange that was had between me and another patreon she opted to checkout someone else not even 2 seconds after telling me the line was closed. Mind you this exchange was not loud rude or causing a scene. The other customer was essentially trying to tell me that there was only one line. I explained to the customer that a previous manager told me that that was in fact not correct. If more than one line is open then there is a line for each one of those registers. There is no sign that makes it a point to note that there is only one line When I got into Nicki's line she told me it was closed and then proceeded to assist the other customer whom I exchanged words with who wasn't in the line that I got in. When I called her on it. She essentially just waved me off and proceeded to assist the other customer. When I told her what was explained to me by another manager she proceeded to say well she is a manager. I think that this exchange was humiliating and belittling. It was embarrassing. it made me feel like in some way she was trying to humble me. She in fact did not correct me about the line situation to say that I was wrong but instead chose to continue to help someone who was not in her line after she told me her line was closed. If I was incorrect about the line assignment then she should have corrected me but she did not. And there is no signage in that store that states that there is one line for all open registers. This store is close to me and convenient to shop in because of the affordable prices but I am sad to say because of the exchange today with management I will not be returning. If I could give less than one star because of the customer service that I received today from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf it was possible to give less than a stare I would. Iāve been going to this Aldi for over 4 years. In that time the great managers that used to work here have been replaced with bottom barrel. The managers currently running this store are rude, impatient, and disrespectful. Both are proud to work for Aldi - yet uphold none of the core values. I dealt with the manager Maria (at least thatās what she said her name was) last night and let me tell you - God bless you if you get stuck letting her make decisions - because youāll be up a creek without a paddle. Aldi needs to look into the management structure of this store and the impact the lack of social and customer service skills these managers have affects the customers experience and engagement when shopping. I personally wonāt be shopping this store anymore - if you want an incredible experience go up the street to the Crofton MD Aldi. Their managers...
