The good: The landlord has cleaned the place up and added a lot of new businesses.

Good variety of stores.

REAL Police Officers are stationed there every night. Despite the nice suburban neighborhood in the area, Bowie actually has a fairly high crime rate. These police officers are really nice to see around here.

The bad: Parking lot is too small for the amount of business it is now receiving.

Parking lot has no speed bumps. Bowie drivers are among the worst, so it is very dangerous to walk around the parking lot here.

The "back" part of the mall is just stupid. There is a separate place with a couple of stores behind the mall that no one ever goes to. Why would you want to? The separate parking lot looks dangerous and secluded.

The overhead radio throughout the mall is not in sync. A very minor annoyance, but still annoying since you can hear the multiple radios at once.

Police do not remove cars from the Fire Lane very frequently. The Advance Auto Parts store in the mall ENCOURAGES people to park their car in the fire line. This shortens the two car road into just a single lane road, making it dangerous to drive through.

Handicapped spots are not enforced frequently. The spots are almost always filled, but only half the cars have the licenses to be legally...

Went to Dollar Tree. One cashier, efficient and very caring. Disabled adult bought some items and left. He left his register to open the door for her. As he checked out another customer, he must have seen the lady outside trying to get his attention. He leaves the register, opens the door for her, then goes back to the register. The lady ahead of me understood when he asked if he could check the disable patron out as he forgot to check out some of her items earlier. She graciously compiled. I asked a young man(manager, maybe?) if he could open another line. He informed me as nicely and professionally as he could that others had called out and it was just the two of them and he wasn't due to clock in on the register. I like this Dollar Tree because the staff are pleasant. They both went above and beyond. These were two young men trying their best to keep the line going and giving a plausible explanation when asked about the line progression. If only more were...
