Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Bowie

Please be careful with the prepping of your food. My experiences with this “family owned” business was unpleasant. I noticed the cashier who had been handling money went straight to preparing the pizza without washing her hands. I did bring it to their attention. The cashier became upset and started to become belligerent. The cashier and a young man who was working in the back start to criticize how they dislike customers. At this point as they started to make insulting remarks I request a refund. The only two who apologized and agreed with the negative demeanor was a Caucasian man and an African American young lady with hazel eyes. She did offer to remake the food but at this point I didn't trust the handling of food.

I don't understand how this cashier does not understand what she did wrong. This is someones food.

The ambiance makes you uncomfortable and you can tell how they don't care for this place of work.

If you become sick after eating their pizza please do question how the food...

Stopped by this location to pick up pizza to take home. Looked on-line to see what specials they had. Saw a Carry Out special for a Large 2 topping pizza for $8.99 and a Medium 1 topping for $6.00. It did not say on-line orders only. My husband went inside to order and the manager on duty indicated you have to order on-line. Came back out to the car and tried to order on our smart phone. It would not take the order and kept flashing Carry Out only. Went back in the shop and indicated it would not allow me to order on-line and that it doesn't say on-line order only. She got smart and said you have to have an account and I told her I did and it wouldn't let me order. Can't you just honor what is advertised. She put her hands up and turned and walked away Not her problem. I yelled back - great customer service you have, obviously customers do not matter to you, and walked out. Will not place another order with them at all. Plenty of other...

Feb 12, 2023:: Order placed at 2:20pm and I set it for pick-up at 6pm. My thinking is, it's Super Bowl Sunday so let me order with plenty of time in advance. However, when I arrived at 6:05pm, my order wasn't ready and when I said, "I ordered almost 4hrs ago how is it not ready? " I get an attitude reply of ," It's Super Bowl Sunday, we're busy!" A couple of other people come in behind me and their order is ready and I asked, " Just curious, how long ago did you place your order? " One said "...about 45mins ago.. " the other said, "... About an hour ago... " After they left the store one of the employees said , " They didn't order an hour ago, it was longer than that. " I thought to myself, " Why would 2 random customers lie with nothing to gain? " However, what I asked was, "So I ordered approaching 4hrs ago, how long ago did they order?!
