DONT COME HERE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Definitely do not come here. My cousin has been going to them for years. He was praising them alot to me . My girlfriend had a specific ring in mind. Scott didn't have it in stock so he says his jeweler will have it made exactly like the photo. Scott was really helpful and nice. My girlfriend's best friend spoke to Scott on how the ring should look. Scott said 5-6 Weeks for it to be finished. When I got the ring, Scott told me to put it away until I proposed. As soon as I proposed, my girlfriend immediately saw it was not the exact ring she wanted. She took a closer look and found alot of thing wrong with the ring. There were scratches on the band, a dent and the band was not a real circle (because he just ordered a standard setting which is a size seven and just sized it down to a 4). We went back to Scott to see what he could do to fix the ring. When we return to Scott , he kept repeating the ring was custom so there is NO return. The setting was all wrong on the ring too. He told us it would be the price of another ring to get how we like it. He was rude and made my girlfriend cry over his return policy. Scott stated this is the first time someone was unhappy with a ring. It's a clear lie. You can see several people here that dealt with him. Save your money .We now have to go-to someone else to get the ring do right. The most upsetting part is that this jeweler claims something is custom when all they did is order a setting and plopping a stone in the middle. They didn't do a good job polishing the metal or communicating with the customer what the "custom" ring would look like. It's not like I buy an engagement ring all the time, there should be better communication on a "custom" ring. A brand new ring shouldn't have dents or scratches. They are nice to you so you buy from them but once they have your money, they don't care if the customer is satisfied at all. Their NO return policy is all you...

My boyfriend proposed and the ring I got was poorly made and had dents and scratches on the band even though no one has worn it yet. The ring wasn't the one I wanted. I took it back to Lander to see if there is something to they can do. They said it's "custom" made so there's nothing they can do. My boyfriend showed them a picture of the exact ring I wanted. they didn't ask any questions about any specificity and my boyfriend naively just paid, believing they would make exactly like the picture. When I pointed out the difference between what I wanted and what I got, they said they never heard of the setting I want, which is a seamless cushion halo. How is this possible for a reputable jeweler??? I got a cushion halo in a cathedral setting instead! Also I asked what their return policy is if they can't change the setting? They said ABSOLUTELY no returns. So now I'm left stuck either dealing with this jeweler who is not helpful and spending MORE money or buying a completely new ring somewhere else..or looking for another jeweler to fix it to my liking. Who spends $11,000 to have this headache? I don't even know how much more this will cost me and my fiancé. Don't buy from Lander!!! Learn from my very...
Read moreIn 2021 A friend saw my complaint called me and added that they sold her boyfriend a diamond for many thousands of dollars lying and saying that it was perfect quality! When she went to another jewelry store to have it sized they told her it was a very poor Quality diamond and only worth maybe $2,000. She was disheartened and very angry and Landers jewelry refused to do anything about it so I told her to call the Attorny General!
First: Lander jewelers is the most dishonest store i have ever been in! i wanted a price on two rings to sell them whole.the owner Scott was there but Rodger told me my ring was only worth $35.00(up from $20) and would only buy it for gold. I saw it in their case a couple of weeks later for $1,600.00 dollars!!! and they were selling it as NEW even though it was worn by me! Attorney Generals office calls this"Unfair deceptive business practice"! If you are unhappy with purchases contact them! They contacted the store. I got my ring back and gave it...
