Introduction: First time my boyfriend and I have been here. We were very disappointment. It was not what we expected based on the ratings.

Experience: We did not have a pleasant experience. The music was loud, and the musician did a lot of yelling. We have been to restaurants that have a life band that was entertaining, but this live music was anything but entertaining.

Welcome: When walked in we were the only people of color. I mentioned that because sometimes you are treated a certain way at restaurants just for that one factor. It seemed to be the case during our dining experience here. The waitress never came back to check on us after giving us our food. We had to ask for assistance and the check from a different waitress. If it wasn’t for the uncertainty of what would happen to our food, we would have sent it back. Unfortunately, we live in a world that we cannot trust sending food back because no one knows what an angry chef may do to your food. Overall, we did not feel welcomed and the food we were served aligned with the service we received.

Ambiance: The restaurant was small and tight. There was a live band but due to the size of the restaurant the music was very loud. I did like the décor with the vinyl records hanging on the wall with vintage pictures of musicians.

Food: Appetizers: cheesesteak eggrolls (was not fresh, could not taste any cheese) and goat balls (overcooked and not hot).

Entrée brisket sandwich on brioche roll with fries (brisket was not hot and was definitely not the higher quality beef and the fries were old and overcooked) the bun was the best part of the meal. My boyfriend had cheeseburger on kaiser roll with baked beans and fries (cheeseburger was warm as if it had been sitting under a heating lamp and his fries were burnt, overcooked, and stale) the baked beans were the best part of the meal. The cocktail tasted like soda as if there was no alcohol in it at all. The iced tea tasted old which would explain what the waitress meant when she said they are not use to customers asking for non-alcohol drinks.

Price: The quality of the food was terrible, and the quantity would have been satisfying if the food would have been good. Our food was not worth the price!!!

Will NOT be returning to this restaurant! Stars: I give it 1 stars.

Tip: I would not refer anyone I know to this restaurant. The food was not good, service was poor, and it...

Pros for the mains: I got the full feast platter, for 76 dollars and let me say the star of this was those ribs and chicken. Very tasty and delicious, I got the mild honey and it was a little bit on the sweet side but it was still amazing.

Pro for the Sides: The Mac and cheese was delicious with a good buttery taste, baked beans were moist and sweet, and onion rings had a nice flavor to it and the stuffers tasted like stuffing!

Cons for sides: the main problem I had with these sides was the portion, honestly it’s my fault for not asking ahead of time but these sides were small for feeding more than 4 people. I didn’t know but I wish it was written down or something. Potato salad had flavor but some of the potatoes were still hard and crunchy.

Cons for Brisket: I tried the brisket but I didn’t understand the concept. When you look up pictures of brisket, the casual brisket is what you’d expect. Here I got sliced deli meat looking brisket and it was cold like out of the fridge cold.

The employee told me to pour this hot oil/water on top to get the brisket hot and then pour the sauce on top after that, so the brisket would shiver up. I paid a good amount for a lb I didn’t expect there to be steps. Either way it was not good at all even with the sauce and for $30 I honestly thought it would be like a better looking/tasting brisket. Disappointed in that.

Place looks cool and nice but maybe a little work on the food and it...

Can't say enough about this place... Great food, great service and the best live music in the area. I've been here many times for dinner and drinks, including recently for a catered party that they did an absolutely phenomenal job on. But let's start with the food... The ribs are meaty and the sauces are to die for. There are many other options on the menu, including chicken, sandwiches and salads, and some healthy options as well for both apps and entrees. My friend told me the mac and cheese was the best she'd ever had. Don't know what you can do to mac and cheese to make it that special, but that's what she said. You can just tell the men and women behind the bar and on the floor truly enjoy working there. They work like they own the place. If your waitress is busy, another will come over and check on you. On really busy nights, you may have to wait a moment to order your beer at the bar, but you're gonna get a smile when they get to you. Finally, if you love live music, this is your spot. From the music memorabilia all over the walls, to some of the top bands and musicians in the area playing on most nights, this is a haven for musicians and music lovers alike. They have created a large and loyal community of good and like-minded people that love playing or listening to live music. You will always get a good show, and every now and then, you might get to see and hear some magic...

12/2022 Update: HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Now on GoogleMaps List of Places to Avoid! Too many better rib places at same or lower price point. Even though the waitstaff was friendly they couldn’t overcome that the rack of spare ribs was not served as a rack, but were pre-cut, reheated and thus dry, tough and overcooked. See pics. Then after ordering and spending way more than the cash in my wallet the place surprised me with a 3% surcharge on a bill for more than $100 for using a credit card. This is not a happy ending! They should tell customers about the extra charge so we can decide if we want to limit our spending to what we have in our wallet. Or you should just charge 3% more for everything on your menu. Or just take cash. Lost its luster big time. 2014: A fun local rib joint. Don’t walk in wearing a tie. They’ll cut it off and add it to the wall of tie shame.
