They do not use the same rewards system that Starbucks just rolled out- the one where you can redeem small rewards like a dairy substitute for 25 stars. They said theirs is the old system.
They say they still do the starbucks rewards for the full drinks, or free tea/coffee refill with purchase. But every time I come there, someone is confused and I get denied my free refill drinks. Last time, 4 people were behind the counter and all said, no a refresher is not included as a purchase for that. I looked at the fine print at the starbucks.com and even chatted with the customer service at corporate. ANY drink purchase is now a qualifying drink for the free tea/coffee refill. On another occasion, they said I had to buy a tea or coffee to get the tea or coffee drink, and would not accept a frap as a coffee purchase... after I had purchased the frap. And since they swapped baristas, he said I could not prove I purchased the drink I had in my hand from that store. Seriously. This store. Badly trained. Unknowledgeable.
And it is not bc it's in a Target. I have been to loads of other Starbucks within a Target and got great...
Read moreStarbucks baristas were very entitled and rude. I understand the stress of working under the holidays but the lack of professionalism on their end was ridiculous. There was a misunderstanding with our order and the cashier laughed and then threw our order in the trash. Such a waste of food, and then my mom got upset for having to wait for our new order and they laughed and were ignoring her. When she began to complain they blamed her for messing up the order. Only one of the baristas knew how to deescalate the situation but very embarrassing on their end. If you are going to giggle with your co workers and not take your job seriously then maybe don’t be offended and confrontational towards customers when there is a mixup with orders and...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this target Starbucks for quite some time. Today one of the employees was very rude and left a bad taste (literally and figuratively) in my mouth. I was waiting for my 2 drinks for a short time. She called out one of the drinks and I saw the other sitting there. I asked nicely to make sure it was the right second drink (as it was not properly labeled). She said “I been calling that one out for over a minute” in a nasty tone…she hadn’t been by the way. A simple “yes that’s it” would have sufficed. Also the drinks I received were not consistent with Starbucks standards that I’m used to at other locations. They...
