! I went to Bridgewater Zagg location yesterday and I should have known from just how the gentleman demeanor at the stand that I should have just said forget it and wait to go to Menlo. BUT BECAUSE I HATE A CRACKED SCREEN, I went against my better judgement. Bill was RUDE and NASTY. He kept saying that I needed to purchase my screen protector from there to be able to get my cracked one replaced and when I asked when did the policy changed because I have been getting Zagg screen protectors for over 6 years. He stated that I must have bought it from somewhere else (other than Zagg) and I stated that when i got my new phone I got it from Verizon just as I have done for ever other previous phone. I even logged into my Zagg account where I registered it to show him. He finally takes off my screen protector and tells me that what I have isn't Zagg and that he is going to give me the basic one not the VISIONGUARD + like I had. At that point I was so livid and disgusted at how he kept touching his nose and my phone and the entire situation that I asked for my phone back and he slide it across the counter and loudly said that i bought it from somewhere else that’s why I was frustrated with him. First of all, I would never claim to purchase something I didn't, Second I could have easily ordered a replacement from Zagg and saved myself the headache of that entire experience and third not only did I feel disrespected and insulted, I was downright embarrassed by the entire ordeal! I not only pay for a brand I pay for the customer service. Bill was the WORST!!!! Save yourself the headache and go to MENLO!!!! ARDA was helpful and informative and provided amazing...
Read moreI am a long time customer of ZAGG but no longer. The gentleman working (Nikhil) showed me 4 options of screen protectors from good to best. I selected the "good" option for $14.99. He began putting a screen protector on my phone and said "I don't have the one you asked for in stock so I'll give you the "best" option for the "good" price." I asked him multiple times, the best option for $14.99? And he confirmed. Sounds great.
I didn't get a receipt (my mistake) and the next day looked at my credit card and I was charged $51.17. I thought he just typed in the total backwards and meant $15.17 as it was one of those CC readers you manually input the total into, so I called to sort it out. He insisted he said he was giving me the best screen protector price for $50 (at a 20% discount from the actual price) and told me I had to go to the store to figure it out, speak to his manager, he didn't know what to do, etc., to which I said no I will not be coming in. I told him he could reverse the transaction or I would file a credit card dispute.
I ended the call and had the person I was with when I made the purchase (male, I am female) call back and tell him the exact same thing I told him. After arguing, the salesperson folded and refunded my card the transaction, losing out on a sale and a customer! I needed a screen protector anyway so I probably would've just paid for the next best option if he told me he was out of stock of the good one. Very disappointing as I have been using ZAGG and this...
Read moreThese guys are traitors to normal wellbeing.
Used Parts. Yes. That's the start of bad, and then it gets worse.
They 'bricked' the phone.
That's the chance with these guys. Zagg is all excuses, too many chances, too much time, too many visits to the mall, promises to call their 'boss,' a lot of nonsense from all the employees equally, they do not pick up the phone, disappear from the kiosk, don't return email, mostly speak in possibilities, speak in outright half truths, and make false claims. There is no written warrantee, that's the biggest laugh. Watching deceptive people at work is really a poor experience for someone who cares about humanity. Especially that is watching young people, to do so. It's base.
These are not repairs, they swap components and are basically clueless about electronics, entirely. It's quite embarrassing to be involved with ZAGG at all. The young people there disassembled and assembled the phone 50 times in vain. The phone will never be trustworthy at all. Don't....
