I cannot say enough good things about my experience at The Fix by iCity Repair. For years, I’ve passed by and noticed how hardworking and friendly the team always seemed, but I never needed their services—until now. My iPhone 14 Pro Max had become unbearably slow, and the battery would drain within hours after the latest iOS update. With my battery capacity down to 84%, I knew it was time for a replacement.

Years ago, a friend had her battery replaced here and raved about how quick and easy it was, so I decided to finally stop in. From the moment I walked in, the staff was extremely kind, helpful, and transparent. The tech explained that because of a crack in my screen, there was a chance it could worsen during the battery replacement. That honesty alone impressed me. Then the owner, David, came over—what a guy! He couldn’t have been more friendly, cool, and passionate about his business. He assured me they had a tech skilled enough to replace the battery without damaging the screen, and he gave me complete confidence in moving forward.

Here’s what really stood out: the mall was about to close, but David said, “If we need to stay 15 extra minutes, no problem—we’ll take care of you.” That level of customer-first attitude is almost unheard of these days. Sure enough, they swapped out my battery quickly and flawlessly. Immediately my phone felt brand new—no lag, no glitches, and hours later my battery percentage barely budged.

Before I left, David asked if I wanted a screen protector. I mentioned how I used to go to the ZAGG kiosk, but it was no longer there. Without hesitation, David said he’d honor their pricing for me, and even though the mall was already closed, he put a new screen protector on my phone right then and there.

Between the fair pricing (far cheaper than Apple and with a 1-year warranty vs. Apple’s 3-month), the professionalism, the friendliness, and the above-and-beyond customer service, this shop has earned my loyalty for life. David and his team are the real deal.

This place is an absolute scam and untrustworthy. We had agreed on a price for a screen replacementand once completed was then upchraged nearly $200. I was charged $400 for just a screen replacement. How does that make any sense? Do not go here, other places that won't try to raise the prices after the job is complete and force you to pay when left with no other option. Then they'll reply to your comment with lies about what was said when they claim camera and audio footage. There's a reason a phone repair shop is reselling labubus. Apparently 1 scam isn't enough for these guys. -Still waiting on camera footage where I agreed to pay $400 for a screen replacement. I recently took my iPhone 13 Pro to a repair shop at Quakerbridge Mall because I was heading out on vacation and the back of my phone was cracked. They fixed it, but right away I could tell the job wasn’t done properly — the glass wasn’t sealed down correctly. Within just a few days, the back cracked again.

It’s a bit farther from where I live, but I knew they do great work, and this time I wanted the job done right. I made the drive, and I’m so glad I did.
