I recently had the pleasure of dining at California Pizza Kitchen, and the outstanding service I received left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I entered, to the moment I left, every aspect of my experience was marked by efficiency, attentiveness, and genuine warmth.

Upon arrival, I was particularly thrilled with how quickly I was seated. It was remarkable to see how efficiently the well-organized staff managed to accommodate numerous customers, all while maintaining a calm and inviting ambiance. As someone who was also live streaming during the visit, their attention to detail and respect for my needs truly stood out.

To my delight, while I was waiting for my live stream to begin, I was treated to a complimentary serving of warm and delicious bread accompanied by a flavorful oil dipping sauce. This unexpected gesture made me feel welcomed and well-cared-for, as if I were among close friends. It was also a great opportunity to savor the flavors and get a taste of their culinary expertise.

Throughout the evening, the staff demonstrated an exemplary level of service. Despite the restaurant being rather busy, they were attentive and made sure to promptly cater to my needs. This was an absolute horrible experience as soon as my friends and i walked through the door some workers already had attitudes about us being there since we're a group of high schoolers I assume they thought we were gonna be chaotic but weren't we were polite and timid our sever Gabriela had a disgusting attitude the whole time she served us. I've never experienced such disrespect in a dining establishment and when it came to paying she stole exactly $46 dollars from us. I don't know why she felt the need to do that and why she thought we wouldn't notice, like it wasn't simple math. When we asked about the remaining money she acted as if we inconvenienced her and continued to be disrespectful and make rude comments while we tried to ask where our money went. We asked numerous times to speak to a manager and for her to tell us who the manager was but she refused. She then went and complained about us to her coworkers and said we were lying and when we asked for them to check the cameras they blatantly refused. We finally got the managerand he took was rude and unprofessional about the situation. They acted as if we were lying and causing a scene, which we were not just simply saying we wanted our money she took off the table AFTER the bill was already paid. Gabriela and the manager continued to call us liars she physically said for us to figure it out ourselves her and her manager continued to be highly disrespectful my group of friends and myself. The manager and Gabriela refused to give us our money that she stole until we threatened to escalate the situation, by calling our parents. At that point we finally got our money back. I would never go back to such a horrible place the manager and the server Gabriela should not continue to work there after how disrespectful they were. We have been to this place many times in the past 8 years and we have mixed experiences. Our recent visit to this place made me write my first google review as it turned out be pretty unpleasant experience.

We were seated after some wait and once we were seated we asked for water with lemon and ordered soup. Server comes with soup and Water with no lemon. We enquire about bread then server says they are out of bread and to our surprise the table next to us was served with bread within next 10 min😅 and water with lemon. We ordered 3 Pizzas and buffalo cauliflower and we got our order but no plates. We request for plates and after some wait server comes with 4 plates and leaves them on the table. We started wondering what is wrong?? This is our first time ever to get this kind of pizza from this place as they were so spicy my husband steps out to get some fresh air and my older one requests for water and after 4 requests to 3 servers and we finally get glass of water. we decide not to order our takeouts ( this is been our ritual not to miss takeouts as both my kids were big fans of CPK pizza) and pay the bill and decide to look for better alternatives from next time.
