One employee at this store made for a very poor experience. I was walking around the store smelling a few different lip products (smelling, not trying on, because I have an allergy to fragrance.) she spotted me and came over to tell me I couldnāt be doing so. I completely understand not trying on any products beyond specific testers and as a HUGE germaphobe would never want someone trying on a makeup product they werenāt going to buy. However, she stopped me for just smelling - and not that this really matters - but smelling the one I was intending to buy. And the way in which she did so was very rude. I have a feeling she may have thought I was stealing - especially because after that - she had another employee following me around the store, trying to give me suggestions for what I was looking for. In reality, I had decided immediately after her attitude and quick judgement that I would not be purchasing from the store. I put the original lip product down, politely spoke to the employee trying to get me to buy other products until I was able to make it clear I would not be buying anything, and then I left - with the two employees giving me dirty looks as I did so. This experience tarnished this Sephoraās reputation for me . An employee made an incorrect assumption about me, who I was, and what I was doing, and addressed it in a rude and unprofessional way and made the entire experience very uncomfortable. I feel sorry for the second employee she made follow me around as well. I wish I knew the first employeeās name, because she made me feel very disrespected, uncomfortable, and unhappy in this store. I will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe and my friend Oscar went into Sephora yesterday and was helped by the manager Kat, we were in the store for quite sometime and Kat noticed my friend needed help finding products, instead of doing the bare minimum she took the time to ensure that my friend found the right products, she took the time to give insight on the things she knew about the products in the store and instinctively me and Oscar trusted her as she was evidently educated in regards to what she was suggesting and talking about, me and my friend left Sephora feeling great and her customer service genuinely made our day as we genuinely felt it was the best customer service either of us have experienced in quite sometime, my friend walked into Sephora on a budget however when it came to checking out because of Kats great service and knowledge and care she took with him, the customer my friend didnāt even care about the total which told me she did more than what was required of her and I can say when me and my friend left Sephora we both agreed when returning to Sephora we will only go to Kat for help and insight and products, she was a tremendous help to my friend and helped him more than heās ever been helped before and I hope she realizes that upon reading this....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went with my friend recently, and she was getting help with a hair item she needed and while i was waiting w my child and my sibling we went to try on perfume. But we also stayed in one spot while waiting for our friend. It was nice getting greeted and asked if we needed help with anything or if we were looking for anything. But then it felt annoying or as if they thought we were going to steal. We kept getting asked by at least 4 employees if we needed help, and each time we said no or that we were just here to acompany our friend that was getting help to pick out a hair product. I used to work retail and so i understand asking others if they need anything but i also know the tactics of when more than one person asking bc they might think your doing something suspicous. Thats how i was feeling, i felt like i was being a bit ganged up on. And at one point i spoke in an annoyed tone because i was getting asked alot. And tbh im sorry to that one employee that i answered in a annoyed tone. I was just tired of getting asked the same thing by...
