I started my experience by calling the nail salon to check if they accepted walk-ins. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly, which initially gave me a positive impression. As a keen observer, especially when spending good money on my nails, I prioritize hospitality and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the salon's cleanliness was far from satisfactory; it was absolutely filthy, which immediately set off a red flag. As I settled in to look through the color options, I felt rushed, which was quite uncomfortable. I was there for a nail repair and fill service with a technician named Vince. During the process, I requested that my nails be shortened slightly. However, Vince ended up shortening them far more than I wanted, almost down to the skin. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, he argued with me and rolled his eyes, which was quite unprofessional. I selected a color that appeared different on the swatch than it did when applied to the nails. Vince had only applied the color on two nails before I noticed this discrepancy. I asked if I could change the color, and he agreed without issue. The second color choice was much better, and I was pleased with it. Despite liking the new color, the application was sloppy and resulted in a bumpy finish. When I pointed this out, Vince was dismissive and did not make any effort to correct it. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing. Ultimately, this experience was unsatisfactory, primarily due to the technician's lack of professionalism, techniques and the salon's cleanliness issues. Not to mention, the owner didn’t come over and try to fix the problem. This was not my first visit, but it will certainly be my last. Although the salon's proximity to my home was convenient, the poor service and environment outweigh the convenience. I hope this feedback encourages the salon to improve their customer service and cleanliness to provide a better experience for...
Read moreAs a licensed nail tech in IL I’m always doing everyone else’s nails. Figured I’d treat myself to a full set and a no chip pedicure. Explained how I liked my nails, slim almond shape, curved not flat. The shape is spot on but they are flatter than pancakes. I asked if he could draw some leaves (fall time) and he said no so I just got an accent nail with a different color. I’m not happy with them at all so I’m at my own salon office getting ready to fix them. Pedicure was okay. I did get cut with the nail file and was bleeding quite a bit. They didn’t scrub the entire bottom of my feet but the massage was good. Quite expensive for their basic pedicure even with the 20% discount they’re offering for the end of August. Nice people though, not like the average salon where they talk in their language and make you feel uncomfortable. Clean establishment, and plenty of space if they’re ever super busy. Overall, I don’t think I’d get my nails done here again but I may return for a pedicure if I’m not feeling like...
Read moreVery disappointed with my nails spend $80 for my toes and my nails to be done and it looks like a 10-year-old did my nails and when I asked for my refund back, they were very rude and disrespectful. I’d rather spend that money somewhere else because the first time that I went there had an amazing experience, but this place is not worth the money half of my nails don’t even Shape right or even colored in right and the bow. It looks cricket. I give this place a zero out of 10 I thought I had a really high hopes for this nail place but I was wrong. Be careful where you spend your money and be careful who does your nails Because half of the time it’s not worth the money, especially when someone doesn’t know how to do their job and it’s very disrespectful. Also to us when you ask for a...
