Wood Bin has a very good selection of high quality wood furniture. The name is misleading in that a lot of the furniture is finished, or they can custom finish it to the customer's specifications. I was in the market for a dining room table and chairs and looked at all the sets the stores around the area had to offer, and Wood Bin had the highest quality for the best price. I ordered an Amish made table and chairs and got to choose the type of legs, top, size, wood, stain, chair backs, table top, etc from their catalog (there were samples on the floor as well) It took a couple of months for the set to arrive, and upon taking the wrapping off, I noticed a strip of wood on the table top that was noticably lighter. Other than that the set was beautiful, sturdy and obviously high quality.I called Jim and he came out right away, and a few days later he picked up the table and brought over a "loaner" (a really nice gesture!). A few weeks later they delivered (and assembled) a perfect table. My husband and I are very impressed with Wood Bin's customer service! The Ohio company that made the table goofed (as happens sometimes), but Jim at Wood Bin made sure the problem was solved to our satisfaction, without a hassle. We will definately shop Wood Bin for our furniture needs...
Read moreWe ordered two pieces from them and both had issues. We spent over $2000 on a TV Stand and a simple printer stand.
Printer stand came first, but with no brackets to install the shelves. Not a big deal but the person on the phone was very rude and irritated that I told him that what they sent me was incomplete. I got the run around and it took 2 weeks to get the missing bracket to install the shelves
We got the TV stand next. It got delivered without shelves, and the handles for the door were cut incorrectly and did not match the threaded holes on the doors. After the issues with our first piece, they would double check to make sure everything was right. They did not. THANKFULLY I did not pay in full, and I refused to pay until everything was fixed. They kept me waiting all day, with very little communication. I called the store and the wife was rude over the phone, after asking where the missing shelves and fixed handles are. Finally showed up to fix everything later that afternoon.
Long story short, I will never buy from them again. After you purchase something from them, they are rude and careless.
If you buy anything, expect rude customer service, and a...
Read moreI am one to very rarely write reviews unless I feel that a review is necessary. A door casing to a piece of furniture I was painting (bought from the Wood Bin) fell a short distance and cracked in half. I went into the Wood Bin on December 5th to Inquire about getting the new casing for the door. The women told me she would get back to me and let me know if they can get it and what the price would be. Two weeks go by without hearing anything so I decide to stop into the store. It was a day that the owners weren’t there and the gentleman working, who was super friendly, told me I had to call back, that he knew nothing. I got busy and with the holidays didn’t get a chance to call until December 29th. Still with no answers, the guy said he would know more in two weeks. I just received a call today January 8th more than a month later and was told the door casing is in and it would cost $35! Excuse me? If I was made aware the price, and was told the door was going to be ordered, I probably wouldn’t have ordered the door. It should have never broken in the first place. It’s a shame their furniture is chealpy made and their customer...
