I dropped my computer off at Donley's computer repair after he told my roommate that a virus traveled through our home wifi. He proceeded to tell me that my computer was infected and he would need to clean it and put a antiviral program on it and that it would cost me over $500. He later called me and told me that my computer was so infected he would have to delete everything on my laptop because it was not able to be saved. After picking up my computer and bringing it home my computer was unable to use the internet. I brought it back and explained the issue and asked for a refund as my computer had never had this problem before taking it to him. Harvey stated that he did not think this was a problem that my computer was no able to use the internet and that he was not going to give me a refund. I would recommend this service for anyone needing a screen repair, but just be aware of the potential for...
Read moreThis place is unbelievable. He's convinced my parents their laptops, tablets and now their ipads had terminal viruses. He ever so graciously offered to buy them from my elderly parents for next to nothing, more a recycling fee, really, to take them off their hands. My parents spent thousands on new technology, and then paid this dude thousands more for him to try to con them out of their devices. Same exact story of "full of viruses from your wifi" that another reviewer said. Same. Exact. Story. Thankfully, my parents mentioned it and I could step in before he took my mom's brand new, high end ipad, too. Protect your parents from these kinds...
