I tried to return a book I rented the day before. A small amount of water got on the corner of about 10% of the pages while it was in my backpack. They refused to accept it and I had to pay the full $200 rental fee.

There are clerks who would pretend not to notice a small amount of water damage that did not cover any text, because they don’t want to charge a student $200 for a mistake that has no effect on the books readability.

We were in town for our older daughter's graduation and so we stopped by to pick up some more BU gear to share with our family back in NY.
