Brookline Housing Authority — Local services in Brookline

The apartments are so outdated and INFESTED with roaches and mice. My children have panic attacks every time they see a bug, which is so hard for me to deal with. My children aren’t comfortable in their own home. You can’t leave any food unintended because a bug will crawl into it. I come home when the sun comes down and it’s so annoying having to walk through the parking lot and the back part of the apartment, when there are rats running left and right. So imma be honest here, the housing authority as an agency in Brookline is outstanding they are godsent people. I have lived in the housing authority since I was born in 2002, so it's not management or the staff that's the problem, it's the residents. They are nasty, mean, vile people who don't care about anything but themselves. Especially at 22 High Street, them people are lowlifes, most of them in my opinion don't even deserve to be in our community because they don't deserve to have a home or place to live. One of the worse places you could ever live they are infected with roaches, mice, and all types of bugs all year long. The Matinence doesn’t do anything to fix the units they don’t even care about overcrowding. Whoever is funding these apartments needs to rip every single building down and renovate them badly. These are the worse apartments ever, and they only care for specific races of people. The housing authority is terrible, the apartments are terrible, and the housing managers are terrible. Choosing to live here should be a last resort...
