Isabel (iSweet photography) was recommended to me by a friend after the photo session I had set up with another photographer fell through. After only a couple of hours after reaching out to iSweet via the website, Isabel had contacted me and offered me dates and times in our two-week newborn window! I was so appreciative that she could accommodate us on short notice and she worked around my husband’s work schedule.

Wow- we are so glad that this worked out. Isabel was amazing. She came to our apartment during rush hour traffic hours, showed up on time, and was so organized, professional, but laid back that we were instantly put at ease even though it had been a stressful and tense day and the baby was feeling it! Isabel is not only a beautiful photographer but she is a baby and dog wisperer. We have pictures that we will treasure for the rest of our lives of our baby and family. The photos all turned out gorgeous and far exceeded expectations.

The part that was most impressive was how she conducted the photo/package selection process. After the photos are taken, there is a brief break taken where she sets up her computer and organizes all the best photos for a slide presentation (which she hooked up to our tv) and then told us to grab a glass of wine, sit down, and relax! After the slide show, she used different categories and sections she had created to help us make selections for our album- it was really fun! All the work and stress was 100% taken out of the process and when she left we already knew what we would be getting and had seen the un-edited version of the photos! I am still in complete awe with the work and professionalism Isabel exudes at every single photoshoot. She has photographed my family for years through various milestones and she just completed capturing my baby girl’s newborn photo shoot.

Isabel made me and my family feel extremely comfortable, especially during COVID. Along with clear details on how to best prepare for the session (including getting baby and us ready and coordinated), she made her COVID protocol very clear and made us feel at ease. When she arrived at our home, she had a mask on (and kept it on the whole time) and took her own temperature along with ours prior to entering. I appreciate that she has taken precautions and made it explicit.

The session itself was fun and relaxing. She was personable and kind to me and my parents. She knew exactly how to handle my baby with care and I felt very confident during the session as she made it a pampering experience and motivated me to feel like myself postpartum.

My favorite part of the session was not seeing what was happening behind the scenes and viewing the photos at the end of the session with her and my family. I cried so many tears of joy and had so many favorites! I’m so excited to see and receive my frame and put it up in my home.

When my husband surprised me with a newborn photo shoot, I was over the moon! When he told me it would be four days after arriving home from the hospital, I was immediately worried – we were all sleep deprived, out of sorts, and barely knew our little son! Isabel had assured my husband that all would be well, and we made it to the morning of. She arrived promptly and immediately – immediately!-put both us and our new baby at ease. I was not ready myself, but she began with the baby and the next thing that happened was magic: our little baby simply became putty in her hands for about three hours of swaddling and photos.Isabel is truly the “baby whisperer” – watching him so calm and peaceful in the adorable poses Isabel creates, and having such a lovely family morning was such a treat for us and a beautiful memory we will cherish forever.This is all before I even mention her actual work, which is impressive to watch, and the photos, the end result which is simply STUNNING. We threw a couple of family heirlooms at Isabel at the last minute, and she effortlessly worked them into the photos in the most gorgeous and artistic way. She captured our beautiful boy perfectly.
