Like many places, they are short staffed much of the time. My visit was no exception. I saw just 2 cars in line so I thought, why not? The wait was long, possibly too long but I waited patiently. When it was my turn to order, they were apologetic for the wait and took my order. Very friendly, easy to understand, great. Then I waited some more to pay, no biggie. When it was my turn to pay I had the opportunity to meet Shantel. She was so nice, again apologized for the wait (I didn't mind but I know a lot of people would be frustrated). We had a nice conversation about the day as I waited then it was my turn to pull ahead. The wait between cars was about 6 or 7 minutes. When I got up to the window for my order, I could tell the rest of the staff was lost. It seemed maybe some were still in training. The manager (I think I never spoke with him directly) looked like he was overworked and possibly overwhelmed. Shantel to the rescue! She hopped up front and sorted the orders out, I heard her talking to someone in the back and motivating them to do their best job. She really pulled them all together and got the ship right again. There wasn't a scene, no yelling, nothing like that at all. She was just really rallying them to get through this rough spot. I've worked in customer service a long time and know a leader when I see (or hear) one. Shantel deserves any and all recognition, a promotion, a raise? Also the food was made to order, was still hot, and...
Read moreWell it won't let me post no stars. How hard is this. No one in front of me. 2 cars behind me. ("Can you give us a moment? Our system is updating.")
First: Your system was not updating in the middle of dinner rush. Don't lie to me.
Second: What about this order is difficult? "May I please have a Whopper Jr. Meal, Large, with a Sprite?" It does not take another 2 mins to punch in my order.
Third: A large meal comes with a large drink and a large fry. Not a medium drink and a small fry.
Lastly: When you put nuggets into a bag, don't think, reach straight for the sauce.
My burger is a Whopper, not Whopper Jr. My drink was a Medium. My fries are small. And I have no sauce for my nuggets.
You should all go back to training. All of you.
And before you get all defensive. This isn't the first time I've had this type of thing happen at this exact location. It's not even the 4th time. This happens so often I stopped eating Burger King.
I wouldn't be surprised if this location closed with how horrible the service is and how many other options are available. Do yourself a favor, person reading this review, go to Wendy's or Taco Bell or Subway. Go anywhere but here at...
Read moreDrive through ordering is a bear! Had to correct her way too many times. It was a simple order 2 whopper special, a large Dr pepper, 1 fish sandwich meal with large onions & tea. (We checked if they had tea, dhee said yes) So initially she punches in fish meal with fries, we tell her that is wrong, and tell we want onion rings. Ok she starts correct it.... at least twice incorrectly with small onion rings fir both, and then either adding or deleting one or the other orders of onion rings. After several correction and re phrasing of what we wanted her to correct, we finally get the right on their summary screen.
We go to pick up our order and she explains "we have no tea..." So we order another dr pepper. And get a medium when we had upsized the meal to large. At this point we didn't bother trying to correct that and took the bag that she handed us. Wasn't surprised to discover the whoppers were a disaster; one was slapped together wrong, the other looked like someone had purposely squashed it (bun compressed and was split). My fish sandwich faired better, I'd say 3 of 5. And surprisingly my wife thought her burgers tasted good despite how bad they looked....
