Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Brooklyn Center

*Let me preface this with the fact that I RARELY give negative reviews/complaints. I choose to focus on the positive.... And, most Chipotle's have been fine.

*THIS REVIEW is specifically for the location in BROOKLYN CENTER, MINNESOTA.

We ordered two steak burritos. There was very little meat (and every other ingredient was minimal) on ours. It would be one thing if that's just how the employee made them for everyone; HOWEVER, every customer behind us had not only a FULL size burrito, there was a VERY NOTICEABLE difference in the amount of all ingredients.

I definitely DON'T want to think that it was a race issue, but we are white and everyone behind us was not. I even asked for extra rice and was given about a half spoonful of it.

The speed was very slow as well. There was one person behind the counter and at least 4 others walking around the back area, wiping/cleaning the counters (oblivious to the line of customers and meals lined up on the counter) while the burritos/bowls were waiting for a 2nd person to finish the order and a 3rd person to run the cash register.

So, everything was COLD by the time that we ate. Even when I asked for extra rice, the young man seemed to have an attitude and looked irritated that I asked. My first few bites were mostly excess tortilla wrap (because it was so skimpy). And, half of it had no meat - the little that it had was on just one half.

This is NOT the first time that we had less than acceptable service and food at that location. Like I said, I rarely write negative reviews. It takes A LOT for me to let things bother me.

*To the BROOKLYN CENTER. MN Franchise Owner/Manager - PLEASE take this seriously. I have an MBA, have management experience, HR experience and also led many diversity initiatives at former employers... your staff needs proper training and/or new staff should be hired. Look at other reviews... I'm not the only one with concerns. And, look at any of my other reviews... this is the ONLY negative one.

Normally when I order Chipotle the food is amazing proportions are awesome never had a problem so I order Chipotle through doordash as I'm at work it cost me $30 for a steak burrito bowl extra add-ons would be guacamole and half order extra steak the delivery was free I had given the door Dasher a $4.11 tip to round everything to a even number I have a number to call on my office door that the door Dasher did not call however he set my food on the extremely cold concrete took a picture of my food sitting right outside my door and texted it to me now normally with the door being locked that would be on me however I know he seen me walking right up to the door just chose to very swiftly get back into his car and sped away and I mean sped away way faster than you needed to go in a parking lot so I grab my food and it is cold no you're not going to want to heat it up when you have lettuce on it it's not like you can pick it out and it just looks like mush tastes like mush with spice so I spent $30 to have cold spicy mush delivered to me very disappointing extremely disappointing not to mention that I had a gift card that had a little over $7 available on it that I wasn't even able to use when ordering through their website I will not be going through doordash anymore and I will not be ordering from this...

Hi, i’m a regular at this location but today i was very disappointed & unsatisfied. I was trying to order a veggie burrito like always & she didn’t greet me respectfully at all, i let it go & continued to order. i asked for brown rice & she put on white rice & when i corrected her she just scraped it off & didn’t even ask if i wanted a new tortilla there was still some white rice on there as-well. she put on the brown rice & went to the beans, she ended up putting very little beans & before i could ask her to put more she was moving to the meat & asked for veggies & she also put very little veggies. she was passing along my burrito & i had to stop her & ask for more beans & veggies which made me feel she wasn’t taking me seriously & was just rushing my order. not only was she disrespectful she put a pile of beans on my burrito! i asked for just a tad bit more & she just piled it on . i asked the next worker to take of the beans & she tried to take them off with a salsa cup in conclusion there service was terrible & i feel completely disrespected ! they definitely lost a regular...
