Hannah, Tim, and Ken were all incredibly helpful beyond belief. I made a large purchase of many larger-sized Lego sets for my husband for Christmas. Tim was able to help me locate every item I was in search of and provided excellent information about the items. Tim was incredibly friendly and also offered insight into the items I purchased, as well as other items I might want to consider in the future. Hannah was my cashier, but also helped me carry out my many large items to my vehicle -- this was greatly appreciated as I had a toddler in tow on my trip! The service I received on this trip was exceptional; better than any other customer service I can remember in many years at any retailer. This team truly went above and beyond. What was most impressive is that I noticed they treated every customer that came in with a friendly smile, and were always patient -- that's something you rarely see these days! I cannot thank Hannah, Tim, and Ken enough for helping me bring home Christmas smiles for my husband -- he's had a rough year and this is going to mean the world to him. I will absolutely be back to shop at the Christiana store! Thanks so...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at the LEGO store yesterday. I wanted a Batman LEGO set, but this store didn’t have it. My friend and I went in to ask for a bag, as we had purchased a LEGO set at a nearby store that didn't have bags available. One of the female employees immediately yelled at us, saying they don't give bags to people. We tried to offer to purchase a bag, but she continued to yell at us and refuse our request.
I can't help but feel that this treatment was racially motivated, as my friend and I are Asian and the employee was white. It's unfortunate that we were treated this way, especially considering that we were willing to pay for a bag. I hope the LEGO store can address this issue and provide better training for their employees on how to treat all customers with respect...
Read moreStaffs said hi when guests come in. Monthly mini-build is good but they treat you with suspicion if one of the registered kid was not physically present. They are concern guests would take an extra kit home to another kid and force you to build the set in-store. The experience was very different at a recent Toys R Us lego build event. No advance registration needed and staffs handed out lego kits to each kid no question ask and not guard them like treasures. Kids are free to build in-store or can take home. My kids prefer to come back to...
