Update we stood way for 2 years and again we were DISAPPOINTED, this time we sat at table with some friends and it was bad! They’re house margarita was disgusting it lead bitter. Our server wasn’t friendly at all. By the way their Elote Corn are 6 small pieces not one big one it’s not on the menu so don’t order 2 just one is enough for a party of 3 or 4. These no flour tacos only Corn. We will never return! Visit on 3/14/25 came two years ago when their first open up.
Not your normal Taco Restaurant! This has flavor to the food, most big taco restaurants don’t have enough flavor, grant it we only had 4 tacos which were all carne asada. Now at $7 a Taco yes family $7 and these a 2 taco minimum, I had too do for you guys who in their right minds would eat 4 tacos for $28 in This area knowing you can get 5 tacos for $13 to $15! Again it was super tender and delicious! The guacamole and chips were on point! The house margarita was good as well! As I write this I ask myself will I come back(maybe) know because the bartender that took care of us so super sweet and LISTENED TO ME, and the trainer bartender that is from North Jersey location needs to lost the attitude quickly! So once Tito’s is up and running for a few months and that bartender isn’t here we’ll come back but until than I won’t return! Customer Service is what is lacking but I’ll give it a try! Maybe!
Super grateful for our bartender (Yonnie her vibe was super great!)
Also I ask the bartender Tahj why was the taco la $7 each her response was………………… that’s the way of life! Instead of saying that the tacos are super flavorful or something to that degree I was...
Read moreWe arrived around 615pm Saturday night. It wasn't too busy. We walked in, and we're greated by two very friendly host and were taken to a booth that was in a back corner. The atmosphere is dark with dim light. Our server came over and was very knowledgeable and went over the menus and drink options. We placed our drink and appetizer order. After a short wait our appetizer and drinks arrived, we had ordered the queso dip which isn't your typical queso, it's a mix of cheeses, thick and delicious especially the crust on the bottom of the skillet. We finished our drinks and the appetizer and it was some time before our server came over and asked if we needed anything else, I think he had tables all.over the restaurant and our table was at the opposite end of the kitchen so that could be a reason for the time. No real complaints to be made about that. Our food arrived a little later, and unfortunately must have been sitting since my beans rice and Burrito was luke warm, not to the point I sent it back or anything just making a note, I do wish the ingredients were spread out more inside the burrito since most of the meat was in the center. My girlfriend got the taco salad which is made with fresh jalapeños so be ready for a little spiciness, which definitely caught her off guard and had to ask for some sour cream to beat the heat. We did end up eating everything and it was good, . Overall it was a good meal, and we'll be back to give it...
Read moreThe good: nice open space, plenty of tables, lots of TVs. The service was pretty decent and the nachos were actually very good. They had a taco Tuesday promotion, half off tacos which were actually good - the meat ones at least, didn't really love the veggie black beans.
The bad: while the tacos were good, they claimed to be on corn tortillas, I'm not sure what kind of tortillas they were using but they were extremely heavy and tasted like flour tortillas more than corn tortillas. Also the pricing for the tacos would be expensive in my view if not half off for taco Tuesday (6 to 7 bucks a taco normal priced)
The ugly: the drinks were god awful. If you look at my margarita you see more ice than drink - I understand on the rocks but you shouldn't overflow a glass with ice. Bartenders are probably new/need more guidance, but man the drinks were not good. Just flavor wise not great.
The place certainly has potential, but they needed a soft open to just work on basics (the drinks). Pricing was not terrible, I didn't like that you have to pay for chips and salsa - just a general gripe I have nowadays. Again, comes down to the drinks for a place to have tequila in the name but then serve that was just not...
