Commerce Square holds a few departments store style of retail spaces, a no fuss grocer, pet store, two restaurants and what appear to be a few local mom & pop type stores.
The greatest downfall of this retail space is the maintenance of the large parking area.
Potholes both giant and small may be abruptly found while in search of a spot to leave one's auto.
Though found in the heart of truck country, the spaces themselves appear to have once been lined for compact cars.
The tight spots and faded lines result in a bit of parking free-for-all during shopping rush-hour (Saturday & evenings after five).

   Read moreI was enjoying a walk through downtown area and I will say that coming from a large city for most of my life (Tampa,Florida) to Comanche Texas it was a huge change but a pleasant one. Most of the buildings architecture here is old school & really a wonder to look at. The Square gives me a friendly homey feel with the shops and well I can honestly say i have never seen a more historic courthouse in my life. They even have the original jailhouse still standing!!
