Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Brownwood

I am struggling giving this one a 3 stars ... we learned about the rewards program for BDUBS at the end of last year... and we have visited a lot of different BDUBS in several states! We pretty much order the same thing! Unless the kids are with us .. but we always eat Lemon Pepper Traditional Wings!!!! So it’s safe to say we know how they are supposed to taste and be seasoned!🤔 we have been at least 4-6 times To this location...since moving here two months ago ... EACH Time we have asked before hand for extra lemon pepper!!!!! Because last year we came and the wings were like bare! We remember these things!!! Now this last time which was two weeks ago I just noticed the waitress who took my number down after I reminded her for my rewards... well she didn’t put it on my rewards!! I just noticed that!! Ok.... so back to our wings!! We reminded them each time and every time we have to send them back!!!! We have even told them they screw up every time ... and nothing!! Also.. we have two kids who love to eat here.. because they can play games while my husband and I have an actual adult conversation... except the tablets at this location.. they are always broke.. or die while they turn them on.. etc... also our waitress I have had her three times and I like her.. she is a chatty Kathy.. but... probably shouldn’t be sharing all the drama that goes on with this location... I know all about the TABC fines... the servers who got fired.. the half naked guys fighting in the parking lot a few weeks ago!! Lol!! If you guys need an update on local drama! Here is your place!! 😂 really, though! We will continue to eat here if we don’t catch it in temple when we go to the Dr! All in all, it’s better then...

Everyone's food was cold and dry, and it still ended up taking 20-30 minutes to get our plates.

Then, while we were eating, we were trying to figure out how it took so long to get food that was already sitting there all day.

For example, let's say that someone got bored and placed every single french fry and chicken wing onto the plate individually, and let's pretend that it takes 5 seconds to handpick each one. With 35 wings total, 2 orders of fries, and a plate of cheese curds, we might estimate about 12-17 minutes to plate everything. But then that still leaves about 10 minutes unaccounted for. However, we also have to factor in the tiny cups of ranch sauce on each plate. If someone made each little cup of ranch from scratch, and it takes 2 minutes to make each ranch cup, then that would definitely put us into the correct timeframe.

Another strong contender is that takes about 10-15 minutes to overcook everything, and then another 10-15 minutes in the freezer for the food to cool down to a lukewarm temperature.

It could also be the case that they were playing cornhole with our food. Basically, they would have to throw the food onto the plate from across the kitchen, and once the right amount of food has landed onto our plates, they would send the plates to the table. I would actually be very impressed with this scenario, because that would be no easy feat to accomplish. In fact, I would be surprised if it didn't take longer to get our food because of it.

The possibilities truly are endless at...

The waitress took forever. I asked her a question about the food because I'm allergic to something and she had no idea. Said she would be right back. Took about 10-15 minutes for her to come back and answer my question. Took forever for her to get our food and she took way too long for us to leave when we were ready to go. Also, I asked a question about a lemonade, she also didn't know about that. She had to get some other worker to answer my question. The food wasn't that good either. My husbands wings weren't very flavorful. He had to come home and add lemon pepper to them for him to semi-enjoy it. On another note, the food is way too over priced for its quality. Most of their "fan fav" appetizers are just quickly deep fried (already pre made). I also believe their chicken is frozen. They also were smart (in the bad way) about me not liking the lemonade. They got the fake Tropicana lemonade and squeezed lemons in it. Left the lemons in the drink and everytime I went to go take a sip of lemonade I got lemon seeds stuck in my straw. Didn't appreciate...
