Cindy Burr is all smiles, and will tell you what she thinks you want to hear in order to sell you their furniture....

By the time you figure out she has told you nothing but lies over and over again...

That BIG SMILE that Cindy Burr presents while she lures you in with her lies about their furniture goes away when you figure out that she misrepresented their furniture product and now you want to RETURN IT...

Now, all of a sudden she implements this “NO REFUND POLICY”, where she “REFUSES TO REFUND YOU YOUR MONEY”, even though she told you lie after lie misrepresenting her furniture product...

Yes, after Cindy Burr lies to you over and over again about their furniture, she then tells you she is not giving your money back...

Then, Cindy Burr tells you she is “ONLY GIVING YOU A STORE CREDIT” after you return her misrepresented furniture product!!!

Can you believe this???

This kind of business practice is not only unethical, it is downright CRIMINAL!!!

Do yourself a favor, don’t go anywhere near Burr’s Furniture Store in Bryan, Texas...

Again, STAY AWAY FROM BURR’S UNFINISHED FURNITURE!!!

Cindy Burr is an unscrupulous merchant, who will lie lie lie about her product, and refuses to refund your money even after she accepts her misrepresented product back!!!

I DON’T WANT, NOR NEED AN IN-STORE-CREDIT...I JUST WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED...She has her misrepresented bed back, and probably has resold it to some other unsuspecting buyer!!!

NOT REFUNDING YOUR MONEY, EVEN AFTER SHE ACCEPTS HER MISREPRESENTED PRODUCT BACK, THEN TELLING YOU SHE WILL GIVE YOU A STORE CREDIT...This is just a ploy to keep your money, re-sell the product and make money off of it again, knowing you don’t ever want to deal with her again, or that store!!!

Throughout this whole messy ordeal with Cindy Burr, I find her to be a lying unscrupulous merchant, who uses the ploy of supposedly giving you an IN STORE CREDIT as a way of stealing your money!!!

Why would I continue to deal with her with a supposedly IN-STORE-CREDIT after her lying to me, misrepresenting her store product, and then refuses to refund my hard earned money when I returned her misrepresented product...

This smacks of criminal intent, and something that Cindy Burr has done to unsuspecting Purchasers before me... In fact, she as much as told me that I would not have any luck with my Credit Card Dispute, because she had someone else who tried to get their money returned through their credit card companies to no avail...

I guess she tells your Credit Card Company that she gave you an in store credit, and the credit card company accepts what she says...In essence, make you pay for something that you no longer have in your possession, nor do you want!!!

Cindy Burr at Burr’s Unfinished Furniture seems to use an IN-STORE-CREDIT to legally rob unsuspecting customers...Customers, Beware!!!

I can’t say it enough...Do yourself an immeasurable favor...STAY AWAY FROM BURR’S UNFINISHED FURNITURE in...

Do not use this furniture store for refinishing, period. My wife and Father-in-law went here and spoke with the employee that handles refinishing, regarding two pieces of furniture they wanted to have work done on. They gave him exact measurements of the chest of drawers and also told him they wanted an end table refinished as well. So this gentleman gave them a verbal quote of between $125-$150 to do the the chest of drawers. Obviously, the end table would be more, but he never gave a figure for that item. He did ask for photos of the pieces, which they sent to him. At this point, if he misquoted the job, he should have said something. But no, that didn't happen...no word from him. So they drop of the two pieces and when they are ready, he calls my wife. Great she says, how much is the total? Here is where it gets good...this guy says it will be just under $600 including taxes. Now they both go back to the shop and my Father-in-law talks with the employee and he vehemently denies saying that low of a quote for the chest of drawers. He says that piece cost $350 and $200 for the end table. He says that he is firm at his $590 final figure. I am giving this review, so that others know to either get a quote in writing or don't utilize their services at all. Obviously they don't stand by their word and will utilize a low-ball figure to get you hooked. This is poor business at best and nearly criminal at worst. Waiting to see how this turns out and I will gladly post updates of the resolution process. ...

I have known this family for decades. Recently I needed a vintage rocking chair that my father purchased my mother completely refurbished and I took it over to Cindy and she handled it from front to back. The piece will last for another hundred years now and I am very glad to have gotten it.

Stopped by today and saw that they've added a really cute little boutique area in the next room and I couldn't pass up these boots and my friend bought this working TV. It doesn't hurt that they have such a wonderful and friendly owner who is COMPLETELY involved with all of the goings-on and promotion of this little downtown, but on top of that they do WONDERFUL paint work to upcycle some of your older pieces that you have from family or yard sales. Now that they have added the little boutique next door I am a frequent visitor just to see what's going on even if I don't need a 50-year old chair restored to new!

Thank you for being a small-local-family-owned business for so many years ... it warms my heart!

PS - sometimes I stop by just to hang outside in the rocking chair to take a load...
