5+ year customer. NOT the shop it used to be...
I've been shopping here since it first open 5-6ish years ago (at least). In the first few months I was young and married I came here for house essentials. With some sifting I found what I needed and so much more! As I was checking out realized I left my wallet at home. The woman checking me told me to take my things and pay her back later. It meant so much to me as a young newly wed - I was SO thankful to be able to pay her back that afternoon. Such a huge blessing at a tough time in our lives. I have been a loyal shopper ever since and have recommended this shop to MANY people over the years. Taken several in myself!
It's more organized than it used to be but still takes time/patience to rummage for good finds. Things used to be fairly priced making the effort worth it. NOT anymore. Most expensive check-out I've had in years... I dug, climbed, squeezed through this shop for over an hour to piece together personal favorites. I have pieced together some beautiful treasures and proud to have built a home this way. Terribly disappointed when I was asked to pay so much more than I have ever before (at ANY thrift shop). I used to only pay for name brand (obviously collectible) things at a higher price (Ex: corningware dishes with matching lids) which made sense.
But I'm terribly disappointed this shop is no longer fairly priced. Especially when I invest time to search for and piece together sets I will need to repair, polish, and replace parts of when I get home.
I can buy similar goods at TJMAXX brand new, without needing repairs, in half the time, and for the...

Now they’re nearly as bad as goodwill. This is an awesome place to treasure hunt and just enjoy thrifting, but they have robbed the joy of it by asking too much. Ship Shop owner, if you want your store to be successful, I highly suggest you do one of two things:
DON’T BE GOODWILL. Your stuff is given to you, for crying out loud. Today, I dropped off three boxes of stuff worth $30 and ended up spending $26 on two small bags of stuff I...
Read moreIt had been a few years since I’ve been here because I recall it being pricey, but decided to check it out this weekend.
The ladies in this store are very nice but the prices are atrocious. The store is so full that it’s hard to walk around and see everything. There is no air condition and no prices. I found several items I was interested in but the prices were higher than you’d find online or other thrift shops in the area. It’s a shame because I’d love to support their mission. For example, a hanging wall picture that would be $6.99 at Goodwill (already pricier than other thrifts) was quoted as $25 here. A small broken milk glass lamp for $25, when the part holding the bulb was crooked and the milk glass shade...
