I called about an hour and a half before closing time to make sure there wouldnt be any problems and was told the truck leaves at 4:00, therefore it would be better for me to come the following day. I couldnt wait because it needed to show the company I was returning something to, that I had gotten the package to UPS today. The store closes at 5:00 and my son was there by 4:30. There was an older man ahead of him and the clerk told my son she wasnt processing any more packages today and that she was done for the day. BTW, the shipping truck was right there picking up stuff, not already gone at 4:00 as I was told. Fortunately the driver took the package and handle it so I didn't have to pay $360 for being late. I understand people are tired and ready to go home after a long day. I worked a shift like that almost all my working life. I didn't just quit waiting on people because I was tired and ready to go home. Hopefully this was just an off day but if you use this office please call and make sure they will still take your package up until...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was forced to go here because my printer broke down and I needed something returned to meet a deadline. While the item was boxed and I had a free return label, I did expect a charge for printing out the label and processing the shipment. I wasn't prepared for the cost to be 3x that of the USPS. I was charged $10 for insurance that would have cost $2.65 at USPS. I was charged $15.80 to ship a 2lb package. This would cost $8.50 at the post office. I also asked if he could handle my Amazon returns that required printing a QR code. He stated that "no one within 100 miles can do that." This is completely false. The UPS store in Sylva has never had an issue doing my returns with QR codes. Finally, the place reeks of cigarette smoke and the guy running the place has no customer service skills. On a prior occasion he ignored me when I entered the store. This time I said, "Thank you and happy new year." He just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI refuse to use this place ever again. I will literally drive to Asheville if I have to ship a product. I would literally drive a package to California to not have to deal with the long haired guy with the glasses. His condescending tone and rudeness is terrible. I said āIād like to mail or ship something, not sure what I need to doā. He replied āwell if you need to mail something Iām going to just send you to the post officeā. REALLY?!? Iām sorry to upset your sense of SEMANTICS⦠mail, ship whatever. You donāt have to make your customers feel like youāre bothering them, or feel stupid. He reminds me of someone who was bullied their entire life and so theyāre taking out their bitterness on EVERYONE they encounter to make themselves feel better about their life. Worst customer service in all of Western...
