My husband and I ate at Native this past weekend while visiting Bryson City. We had just got off the train and started at another place where we were seated but told they couldn't serve food. I was hungry so we walked over to Native where I had explained to the hostess what had happened. She immediately got us to a table and was very inviting. Super friendly. Our waitress was also very friendly and knowledgable. She brought me a few beers to sample so I would be happy with what I chose. We started with the fried deviled eggs. Fun spin on a classic. My husband ordered the BourbonZola burger with chips while I ordered the special which was a NY Strip with mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. Everything was fantastic but to make it all better, they had crème brûlée!! It's my favorite. The outdoor seating added to the already great night. I was impressed that they have only been open since July. Everything seemed to be running quite smoothly. Would definitely go back.

I love that they've opened one here in Bryson! The food is always well portioned for the price and always delicious! I normally get a to-go box because I cant eat it all. I've never had a bad server and the location is wonderful! This visit I got the grilled steak salad and my husband's got the southwest salad and thanks to Libbi for excellent service. I also love the whiskey berry meatloaf. We have started eating here every Sunday after I get off a long shift and can always count on amazing food!

We sat at the bar. Our server Ali got me a flight. All beers were good. The Sunrise Vanilla Cream is a dessert beer. The Angry Beaver Porter is very roasty. The Warrior Blonde is beer flavored beer. Jo got the Native Girl Pale Ale. All good beers. This place is new so Ali gave me the hours to update Google. They are open all week. 11:30am till 9pm. The fish and chips rock.

The food was excellent, I got one of their speciality burgers called the Bourbgonzola (something like that). Their burger meat was quality, I asked for medium and they nailed it. Topped with gorgonzola cheese, fried onion straws, and barbecue sauce. What a lovely combination! The sweet of the barbecue sauce, savory tender and juicy beef, saltiness of the onion straws, and the sharpness of the cheese really compliment each other and gets all your tastebuds at full attention. The bun was great, I got fries, they were good enough. I ordered one of the specialty cocktails, a key lime pie martini like concoction, it was delicious and to my surprise had a respectable amount of spirits in it, a couple of those and you’re feeling goooood!!

Staff was friendly, I was solo and wasn’t really there to hang out for hours, they took my order right away, got me fed and out the door with a half a buzz on in less than 20 minutes. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate when they can pick up my vibe that I’m a competitive solo speed diner and I’m here to do work and shatter records. I would...

Our party of 3 had the catfish sandwich and chicken wraps. The hand helds were adequate, except the catfish crust was very heavy and on the greasy side. The French fries were not acceptable. We each had just a couple. Not sure if it's the fry grease or cheap product. Both I'd say. The server was very good, though I expected some part of the bill would be taken off due to the fries. Nope. Not even an apology. The prices are high for the quality. This was our first and last visit to the bryson city location. We've been to cherokee several times. We live in the area. Very sad. We...
