The store and the staff was great, and the delivery process for a $6,000 order was not so great. Last year, we ordered a bed for our son with plenty of time for delivery before Christmas. Christmas came and went, and the reason for the failure to deliver was it was stuck at the shipping hub. Certainly not the store's fault but just poor logistics from corporate. This year we ordered a new couch and coffee table and took the day off to meet them at the house for delivery only to have them no show. Finally, Dee from the shipping hub called to inform me we would need to take another day off to meet them and how he only got this done by pulling strings to get it done so quickly. He acted as if he was doing us a favor by getting it to us despite their screw up. We didn't pick the delivery date, Pottery Barn did, but now it's our burden to take off another day to set and wait for them. Let's see if Pottery Barn makes this right after two failed deliveries or if we need to take our years of business elsewhere. Buyer beware! I called him over to the item I was inquiring about, and he walked up to me with such a nasty attitude. Asking âHow may I help you.â But itâs not what this sales associate said, itâs how he said it. He looked me up and down in such a condescending, racist manner I decided to leave the store. As I walked past him, he nastily said again, âI said, HOW MAY I HELP YOU.â I have shopped at pottery barn several times in the past and never have experienced what I have today.
