We ate at Red Robin in Cumming yesterday and had a great experience. We were at the mall of Georgia shopping and decided to enjoy it once again since there was one in the mall. Not the case!!! We had our baby with us again and we were treated well in Cumming. They knew she was young and were aware that babies have a limited amount of time before they get antsy. This Red Robin had ZERO clues. We were seated in the back where our server only had one other table at the time. He took our drink order and seemed pleasant. But the drinks took more time than usual to get to our table. He took our order after 15 minutes of sitting there. I ordered a soup and it took ten minutes for him to come back and tell me they were out. I asked for sweetener and he forgot. I had to remind him. The food came out OVER an hour after we ordered and it was NOTHING like the one in Cumming. It was bland and dry. By this TIME our 7 month old is ready to blow. I had to walk her around while my dry, bland food got cold. When I came back, the refill he gave me had zero ice and two empty glasses were stacked up on the table. I was so frustrated at this point so I went up to the bar to get more. He met me up there and asked what I needed so I told him ice, which he promptly retrieved for me but this was the first time he really showed any initiative. He really never seemed to check back and disappeared in the back the whole time. We are for sauce on the side twice and he never brought either one of them. I left to get the car because I just wanted to leave my wife came out when I pulled up and a stranger had to open the door since the hostess was sitting in a chair looking at her phone. Not professional. With all of the other places to eat at the mall, I would avoid this one. Not even as a...
Read moreI been going here since they opened in 2016. Unfortunately, this place has been going downhill the past few years due to high staff turnover. No-one is left from the "old days" - floor or kitchen staff. I went today as it was my birthday but the server who checked my ID didn't even register that fact. Had to first wait 10 minutes before anyone showed up to greet us at the entrance and get us a table. Then, had to wait 15 minutes to get someone to actually serve us and take a drinks order. Ordered two Desert Pear House Margaritas - got one Desert Pear and one Strawberry (not frozen). Had to wait another 10 minutes to place our food order. Food was luke-warm to cold when it arrived. My fried egg (supposed to be over hard) was rubbery with burnt edges. My "flame-grilled beef burger" was a tasteless piece of minced meat. The server was not attentive to our needs. We had to ask other servers (and even the manager) for attention, who then called our server. Then we waited for another 10 minutes for anything else. No offers for drink refills; no offers for refills of our bottomless fries; no offers for anything additional; no checks to see if we wanted anything else. When we finally managed to obtain some refills of our fries, they were actually fresh and hot - only part of the meal that was appetizing! Red Robin now arbitrarily adds on an "entertainment fee" to your bill - supposed to be if you play games but it just gets added on regardless. If you don't check your bill, you end up paying for this as well. I've always loved Red Robin but I will not be going back to...
Read moreFirst off let me say that we as a family love the Red Robin in Cumming, Ga. We have had nothing but great food and service there.
MALL OF GA RED ROBIN IS HORRIBLE!!!! To start when I checked in I told the hostess that I had a party of 3 and needed a highchair. The wair time was fine, but once called back they had call four large parties at a time and the very small front was packed full of people waiting to be seated. The tables were not ready.
Once shown to the table we reminded the host we needed a highchair. He stated they didn't have any and said they had a booster seat for a booth. My baby is 15 months old and has never sat in a booth in a booster seat she is WAY to small and young for that. Also the booster seat states only to use with a chair. Very dangerous. I was holding the booster seat the whole time.
Once we were finally seated. My husband order a Miller Lite, it took the waitress 10 mintues to come back and tell him they were out. He then order something else and it took 20 mintues to get that. My order was incorrect and we asked for the flavored ketchup, took forever to get it and we never got a second order fries after asking it for twice.
By this time we paid at the table kiosk and left.
We will not be going back to this...
