Hello, I wanted to share some feedback about our visit today. This was our third time coming, and everything was always fine before. But today there was an unpleasant situation.
I noticed that the staff members were saying something directly to my child, even though he does not speak English. When I approached and asked, they told me that he was not allowed to go into the small kids’ room with the ball pit because of his height, even though he is only 4 years old.
This raised a question for me: why was this never mentioned to us during our first two visits? The sign with the height restriction is not noticeable at all. We have been there before without any issues, and I have regularly seen other children even taller and older than my son playing there without being stopped.
Honestly, without that ball pit room, there is very little left for a 4-year-old to do. The section with slides, swings, and the climbing maze may be fun for 20–30 minutes, but it is not enough to keep a child busy for 1–2 hours. It becomes boring quickly, especially if the child comes with only one parent and not with a group of kids.
That is why I am not sure how we can continue coming here. If the rules are applied inconsistently — sometimes enforced, sometimes not — it is confusing and frustrating. Also, if older kids are not allowed in the small kids’ room, then there really should be a proper section for their age group with toys like blocks, puzzles, cars, or even another play area. Otherwise, it makes more sense just to go outside to a playground with slides.
Finally, what bothered me most was that the staff chose to address my child directly instead of coming to me as the parent. I do not think that was appropriate.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for families...
Read moreWorst experience! We were there for 3 minutes before I had 3 staff members give me a lecture as to what I should have my child do and not do. My child has sensory issues and won’t wear his socks when playing. The staff girl at the front told me it’s ok at first and that she understands then when another staff member asks her, she complete changes her words and said that she told me that he has to wear it. But at the register she told me she understands and it’s not a big deal. The staff was incredibly rude and does not know how to accommodate families with these kinds of issues. Not one smile when you walk in! No worth from any staff. Staff looked just as miserable to be there as I was for those 3 minutes, if not more miserable. She’s telling me that he can get hurt. I told her I signed the waiver for that reason and she just stared at me not knowing what to say. If he gets hurt, that’s on me not you clearly because of that waiver. Another girl gave my money back and didn’t even say sorry about this. If you let her, she probably would have smacked the money in my face. At least the first girl was kind enough to apologize. For a kids play place, they are not accommodating at all so keep that in mind before you go. I understand rules and policies, but if you have a place like this where you deal with kids of all ages and issues, please don’t give the parents a harder time! Won’t be coming back and won’t recommend to anyone I know that’s for sure. There was much nicer and kinder place right across from them. Just letting you all know that. It was just a stab in my face that my kid is different and that he can’t utilize these things other kids are utilizing. Took everything out of me to not cry. Do better when working with kids. Or at least give your staff the proper training when around kids...
Read moreI was really excited about this place at first from when we started to see construction happening. But upon first visit I am not a fan. Cons: it is an obvious money grab upcharging business model. As a parent I have been to my fair share of indoor playgrounds and never have I visited one with timed pay-to-play. Want extra time? You have to pay extra. Only one parent per kid admission. Bringing another adult? You guessed it: extra upcharge fee.
Also this is the first indoor playground I've been to where you can't bring in outside food. Why is that? You guessed it: they have a "cafe" where you can pay for food.
The spaced looked big and promising from the outside but once you go in you realize it's not as large as other indoor playgrounds that cost similar admission price.
Lastly the bus stop chairs they have for you to sit and watch your kids play are uncomfortable.
Literally right across from here is another indoor playground where for less money you get all day access, you can bring in outside food, they have comfortable couches to watch your kids play, and is comparable in square footage.
The facilities are clean and the candy shop is a nice touch to the overall vibe. The staff are friendly.
I was hopeful this place would be a new spot for our family but honestly the better value is across at rockin kids where I don't feel like corporate greed is upcharging every minute and I can eat my dinner and relax while my kid...
