I'm not giving the store a 2 start rating. I'm giving it 2 stars because of the customer service I received. The female behind the desk who was running the shop was clueless of what things were use for. I purchased a "Santa muerte" candle and the tag said 15 but she charged me 30 because she said "all the candles are marked incorrectly" I said well why havent you changed them and she said "I'm not the owner and dont set the prices" yet all the candles were either 10 or 15. Dont understand why she charged me 30. She was on the phone the whole time I was there shopping with my mom. Never once asked if I needed help or anything. Other customers came and she was horrible to them as well. When we were ready to pay she said "only cash because I dont know how to work the debit card machine, it doesnt work, is not connected" again lots of excuses. Yes cash is easier but if your store clearly says we take all kind of payment at least you can do is train your employees or hire someone who knows how to work the machines. This happen on Saturday September 14 at around 11am. Please replace her of train her better at customer service. And if you really dont want customers to use debit cards please put a sing up that says "cash only" oh and please fix the prices of...

Unfortunately I agree with another reviewer that the tarot reading is a scam, largely because I had the same experience as them. I paid $50 for a tarot reading, the deck he used only had major arcana, and he prompted me to ask a question. I was generally non specific and said that I’m feeling unsettled and want direction for next steps. He didn’t read or explain any of the specific cards in my spread. He pretty immediately went into how a dark energy has attached itself to me from my past and it’s causing me to be stuck/experience hardship. He also said my life course will be altered by it. I asked if the cards give any solutions, and he said no. He asked if I had heard of “limpia” before and then told me they can do a 3 day ritual cleansing which involves me lighting candles and doing a couple things with him on the first day and then doing more with the candle on the third day. When I asked more questions he said he would do an aura reading which included him using a spray bottle and fire behind me. He said the spirit is affecting my aura protections. Very disappointed in my experience. They sent a young man to read my cards and I suppose he thought I was completely ignorant? He didn’t even know the meaning of any card!! He just asked me to draw cards at random and did not explain anything. He said I must SURELY have some evil working on me that only his $600 service could possibly remove and that if I didn’t pay then I would fail at everything in life! Really? Everything?! Just the most obvious fear-mongering scam.

He didn’t even put any effort into the lie at all, just a bare faced scam, I wasn’t even a little scared. No theatrics or anything! Here was an opportunity for spiritual counseling and all he could do was try to convince me that I had a curse that I needed to pay to remove. Thankfully there was a huge statue of Santa Muerte in the room so I knew no evil could touch me. I consider the $50 a donation to Santisima for protection from these scammers! Don’t bother to get your cards done by these charlatans. Thankfully the store is well stocked, so if you already know what you need, you can get it there...
