Party on the Rocks — Local services in Burien

We hired bartenders and event staff from Party on the Rocks for our wedding. It was such a busy day, I barely remember them being there. Which is high praise in my opinion. That is how seamless everything was. I didn't have to worry about drinks getting to guests or buffet items getting replenished. It all just got done before things were even noticeably needing to get handled.

Our guests also offer complements to the staff for their professionalism and good customer service.

Communication leading up to the event was decent. For a small company during a busy event season, responses were prompt and thorough. There was a significant miscommunication, that, in rereading our correspondence, was on my spouse and me for not being clearer. We were supposed to have 2 bars open for the duration of the event. However, they thought our second bar was opening later in the evening and as such recommended one fewer bartender than we needed to have both bars open the whole night. My recommendation is to have a call to discuss your vision over writing to avoid this.

TL/DR: we would book POTR again and plan on using them in the future if we host another...

WOW! Booking Party on the Rocks as event staff was one of THE BEST things I did for my wedding. I was a DIY bride to the max - we did all of our own music, decor, and made all of our own food for a 120 person wedding which included pre-ceremony snacks/refreshments/lawn games, cocktail hour, and dinner/reception. I ended up hiring 3 event staff to work 1pm-8pm and they were simply amazing. Super professional and hard workers with great attention to detail. They worked seamlessly with my day of coordinator and my family. They helped us set up each event, kept food/drinks well stocked, switched tables/items around between events, and did a ton of clean up. I am so impressed with what an incredible job they did. They took SO much stress off of myself and my family during the wedding celebration itself and I am so thankful for them! They were also great about communicating leading up to the wedding. They were one of my favorite vendors to work with. If you are looking for amazing event staff - look no further. These are the people you want to help...

We hired Party on the Rocks last minute to bar-tend our wedding when our original plan fell through and we are SO happy we did! When I had frantically reached out to them they instantly put my mind to ease when I saw how nice Claire and Elysia were and how willing they were to take on our wedding when it was just a couple weeks away. During the planning process their communication was amazing and they didn't skip a beat! The bartenders (Hillary and Javier) they had sent were so awesome and really made a fun atmosphere for our guests. We did have a bigger wedding of 220+ and only served beer and wine, but even when the lines got a little long the bartenders always had a smile on their face and worked quickly to get everyone what they asked for to keep the lines moving.
