El Super Pollo Restaurant — Restaurant in Burien

I never do reviews on places but I just had to write one for this place because it was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! First impression, I called and they answered nicely but I asked if they were busy and how long their wait was (cuz it’s Mother’s Day) and they hung up on me!!! The service was bad, the time was the worst, the milk wasn’t fresh, no one ever came to check on us or refill my coffee while we were waiting for our food! We waited over an hour for our food. For TWO of us, OVER AN HOUR! We didn’t have to wait to be seated, we were seated right away and they told us our waitress would be about 20 mins to take our order. Didn’t offer us our drinks while we waited. A table right next to us of a family of 10 people that arrived 10 mins after us started getting served their food before ours and we finally had to ask about how much longer it was going to be for our food. Our waitress didn’t even know how long we had been waiting when we had stopped her to ask her, she assumed we were going to be waiting 30 mins and we had to tell her we’ve been waiting for an hour!!! When we saw other people that ordered WAY AFTER US were being served before us we decided to leave. F** Mother’s Day service was horrible!! My two year old didn’t even want to drink her CHOCOLATE MILK... 🤢 Nobody said happy Mother’s Day. Nobody checked on us once while we were waiting or said do you need anything. No one offered us free drinks or appetizer for the long wait. It was just all around bad service. From our first impression we thought this might be a good place but definitely not...

Went for a quick lunch while my car was being worked on. I was seated immediately, but no one came to the table to offer water or anything else for over 5 minutes. What was happening was a minI staff meeting on the floor about shifts. When my server came over, he wanted to take my order right away without offering me a beverage. I had to ask for my water and coffee. Once my food was served, no one came back to check and see if I liked it or needed anything else. I could have used a steak knife to cut through the Enchiladas as they were not tender. After I was more than halfway through my lunch, I was offered salsa as an afterthought. Once I was clearly finished eating, no one asked if I wanted a box, dessert, the check; nothing. The staff were busy entertaining themselves and screaming-laughing like the place was closed. While I love good music and ambiance, I'm not sure the Latin rap mix was appropriate for lunch service.

I ordered the Enchiladas Rojas. It came with rice and beans. It also came with a cold salad on top of the Enchiladas, which made the entree luke warm. Not good. I also ordered a coffee which was nowhere close to fresh. With 2 creamers, it was still the color of puddle water and tasted like it. The food needed to be seasoned; very bland.

Will I go back? Only if I need a bite while my car is being serviced. Maybe, next time, I'll stick to easy dishes like a quesadilla and...

Okay, I have a LOT to say about this place. To begin with the food wasn't great. I ordered Birria tacos with rice and beans, and everything was looking great till I tried the rice. It tasted good but when I ate it some of the rice wasn't fully done. Which would be normally fine but it was so un-done that the rice was still hard and difficult to bite, and this was for the entire thing. Along with the rice, there was just more beans than anything. The food was all in really big portions which is fine, and for the price is actually great (if the food was good). Utensils were also only given to some of the people seated with me (family) and the rest had to ask. Despite this the staff was all really wonderful and sweet but unfortunately the food was not.
