We’ve ordered takeout from these guys a few times. Food is kind of expensive, but it’s pretty good. I was looking to order this evening since I was running an errand nearby. I saw an option to do an online order, so I tried that out. After I placed the order, I received an email that said it would take an hour before it would be ready. I don’t live very close by and didn’t want to spend an hour in their parking lot. I went in to confirm that it would be an hour and then asked to cancel. The lady said I had to call the company that does online orders. The emails I received about the order only listed the restaurant’s phone number. So I do some googling to find the number, call and then am placed on hold for several minutes. Finally I speak to someone and they say the restaurant needs to cancel the order, so they put me back on hold to call the restaurant. After several minutes they get back on the phone and say the person they spoke to wouldn’t cancel the order and that they will have to talk to a manager there. At this point, I’m not sure what is even happening. I plan on disputing the charge with my credit card company if we get charged. Long story short, don’t use the online ordering system on...
Read moreI purchased an order of crab rangoon and phad thai and received an order of free egg rolls because my purchase was over $25 (nice incentive). The crab rangoon were 6 small pieces that were fried almost to a burnt crisp. The price was $12 for very small pieces. I mean Panda Express's rangoon are bigger. The egg rolls didn't seem to be cooked all the way as the inside seemed a little doughy (I get it as they were free but still). Phad thai was just ok. I really wanted to give them a try but sadly was disappointed. That is why my go to is Bai Tong in Tukwila. They have been in business since 1989, started by a former flight attendant from Thai Airways. Hands down the best Thai food around. Bai Tong #1 You should try...
Read moreThe flavor tasted more Chinese than thai, crispy garlic tasted like orange chicken without the orange flavor, and phad Thai was bland. Funny because I knew the food wouldn’t be good as soon as my husband brought it to the car and sure enough, it sucked! The only reason I ordered from here was because I thought it was Krungthep, only to find it I ordered at the wrong place. It’s also concerning that when I placed the order (crispy garlic takes a lot longer to make), she said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Should’ve been a clue that I was calling the wrong place, but I was rushing. This makes me believe they pre make the food, like Panda or a buffet. I suggest you spend your hard earned $$ at Krungthep, for...
