Sure do know their business and products!! I had 4 bar stools for which I had paid a pretty penny a few years back but the upholstery was really falling apart. I was really torn as to whether I should just buy new chairs or get the ones I had recovered?? The chairs fit my space nicely and had even been custom cut for height but sometimes you just felt like you were sliding out of them. A friend recommended Burien Upholstery and I had the opportunity to see the fantastic the work they had done for her. Took me a couple of trips to the shop to find the fabric I liked. They were never pushy but answered all of my questions. We discussed my concerns with the stools and gave me some suggestions on how the chairs could be rebuilt/built-up. Finally I picked my fabric. They warned me that getting the fabric could take several weeks. In a couple of days I got a firm bid for the fabric, rebuilding/contouring, recovering the chairs and replacing the swivel mechanism as 2 of the screws had sheared off (I didn't even know that - someone could have fallen off the chair if it had actually failed) . Called to confirm I still wanted the work to be done. Well it did take about 4 weeks but once the fabric arrived the work was completed in less than a week. I'm very happy with how the chairs look and sitting in them is much more comfortable not to mention safer. The work was not inexpensive but at least now I know the quality of the fabric and construction of the seat. I know these chairs will serve me well for a very long time. Highly recommend...

I have to leave a 2 star review, there was an obvious attitude shown from both employees immediately upon asking about having a repair done on an older car with a small issue in a vinyl seat. I did gather why they didn't want to work on it, but man did they make me feel really dumb for even coming in to inquire. Short answers and just an overall unwarranted and disinterested attitude. It's almost like when they saw me in my dirty work clothes (I work with carbon fiber) they immediately decided they weren't interested in helping me. Definitely room for improvement when speaking...
