Update: I left the old comment at the bottom for reference. The chairs ended up getting delivered and we re-paid for them. Chairs showed up great and the delivery team was awesome. The folks at the store were very helpful in resolving the issue. I have changed my rating from one to three stars and not five purely because of the communication issues that seemingly stemed from the customer service call center. Every other aspect is great, but I had cancelled the order with customer service and the delivery driver still showed up, which I am happy about in the end, but there seems to be a big disconnect in communication where we could've easily avoided this fiasco.
Old One Star Comment:
We recently purchased two recliners for my wife with our impending newborn. We were told there would be no issue delivering on the AFB. When the expected delivery time had elapsed, we had received no phone call or anything from the delivery team. After an hour the delivery team marked the order as delivered, not cancelled, with no explanation. When I got a hold of customer service they were able to track down the reason as "base." The next delivery date available was a week later and we were going out of town so we would've had to reschedule later. When I asked for the delivery fee to be waived due to the delivery not being delivered on the day we requested and agreed upon (we got rid of our old chairs in preparation), all they could do was reschedule the delivery. We went ahead and cancelled our order due to our frustration and confusion with the process (in store we were told they could deliver on base, but the customer service rep made it seem like they couldn't even though they would reschedule). When I contacted the store representative after all of this to let them know we cancelled the order, they explained we were the next stop (I assume they actually called the delivery driver).
This review is directed towards whatever callcenter they use for customer service and the delivery service they use. The in store representatives were very kind and helpful and we loved the chairs. Our experience with the customer service is what ruined our experience and will prevent us from purchasing anything from the store again. Read moreBought a sectional couch with sleeper in November. The shopping experience was amazing. Jeff is very personable and helpful. Very good salesman. We are a military family and live on a base. We had just moved in and needed a couch desperately. We were happy to find one we loved, and that delivery would be quick. (5 days later)
Delivery was not quick. On the original date, they called to say they could not get on base because they lacked the proper paperwork despite being reassured by Jeff that they deliver to base "all the time." Next, customer service says they cannot reschedule until 2 weeks later. 19 days without a couch. We were very upset. After bothering the agent, she agreed to refund half the delivery fee ($260). Jeff went above and beyond in listening to my woes and even got the store manager to agree to refund the other half of the delivery fee. Except they never did.
Fast forward to using their Goof Proof warranty. My daughter had the flu 3 weeks ago, and projectile vomited on the couch 3 times. Submitted a claim and was surprised when it took a week for it to be approved and got scheduled a week later. Then the technician ghosted us, and here we are 3 weeks later with dried vomit on our couch. Smh. Fingers crossed the new technician shows this weekend, 1 month after the initial claim.
