I had just left the Baja Fresh in Woodland Hills, which was already closed at 8:48pm on a Sunday night?! So I looked up the next Baja Fresh closest to me and drove straight to Calabasas. I called on the way, which was good because the manager on duty told me that their Micros (register) system shut down at exactly 9pm and that I HAD to be there by then...but it was now 9:53pm and I was still 7-10 min away! He really wanted to accommodate me, so he took my debit card number over the phone and rang me up so that I didn't cause an accident rushing to get there!

I walked in at exactly 9pm and as promised, the cash register was already shut down. Of course, I was greeted by my pre-paid receipt and offered a free fountain drink while I waited a few more min for my order (it was a big one). I was thetevwhen they built this shopping center. When it was just framed 2x4s my friend Steve Sherban and I rode our bikes in and out if the framing. Before that, we rode our bikes in the hills that were taken away to build the shopping center. So my toes to this place go back almost 45 years. I remember when there were locally run jewelry shops and bagel shops in the center. I remember when there were large rolling hills across the street and now stands the Calanadas Commons. I don't get here often enough, but one thing is for sure... this place...

Visited Wood Ranch, the food was off the chain, the BBQ Ribs,.Sweet potato fries and Baked potato, Ultimate Burger with Skinny fires was all.done top perfection, the Ribs were succulent and done to perfect doneness, not dry and tasteless, the Ultimate Burger was piled high over 10 inches of delectable awesome bites, all meshes together to satisfy the taste buds.and my huge hunger. Their signature garlic rolls was as usual, delicious, hot, buttery and FRESH!! Place to go to satisfy ur BBQ Cravings, Celebrate and enjoy family...
