Ulta Beauty — Local services in Calabasas

Literally the worst Ulta I have ever been to. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. I went in this week to purchase a shampoo. I needed some advice from one of the employees. Ever time I tried to come up to someone they either acted like I wasn't there and walked away. Finally after 15-20 minutes my boyfriend finally got someone to help. I came back 2 days later to return some oil that my boyfriend purchased for me. Of course he lost the recipient but told me he put it under my name. After going back and fourth with one of the employees she got the manager. The manager proceeded to tell me that my so called olaplex oil that's worth $15 was only worth 1 cent?? I mean how does this make any sense? Anyways even though this product made my hair fall out, Ulta did not seem to care at all and told me it was worth 1 cent. I don't know where or how she got this information but I think it's absolutely astonishing that she could let one of her customers hair fall out and not do anything about it. Let me mind you the day I came in before the incident, the manager was the first one to run away. Honestly disgusting by this location and will not be coming back after the numerous visits with the most arrogant...

DO NOT go to this store! I’ve never had such an unpleasant shopping experience in my life until today at this ulta location. I went in to get a new foundation and concealer, and I was put in such an awkward situation.

I asked one of the employees for help matching my shade, and we were trying two different shades, and suddenly she said “omg its so weird i dont know where i put the other foundation”. she forgot where she misplaced it and her behavior conveyed that she was suspicious of me. I felt so uncomfortable bc i was just standing there, hoping she can find it so she can help me with what I was looking for. but no. she kept saying “its so weird”. I told her “maybe you can ask your coworker to come help you find it” and she called her coworker and I noticed she whispered something in her ear instead of saying it out loud. I felt so uneasy that I offered to show her inside my bag, and she looked inside my bag which proved that my feeling was right. she did suspect me of something . I used to be a die hard Sephora fan, and when I first heard that Ulta was going to open right across from them I was confused, and there was already a high end beauty supply store in that shopping center, needless to say I was a bit confused. So one day I was waiting for some friends to meet up with for lunch, and they were running late so I went into Ulta to kill the time., and boy was I surprised! I was welcomed by everyone, and not in the annoying or forced way either. I will say that I've made a connection with 2 of their very sweet, knowledgeable, and hilarious employees there, so if you go in there ask for Kash! I would say ask for Gabby too, but sadly she moved to Texa, but all of theiremployersare wonderful. Big ups...
