If you stay in room 14 you might have an experience like ours. It looks like the room was an ad on to the hotel. It is next to the office, attached to the office space and right outside the "courtyard" where they have breakfast. The first night the owner had a cough and his wife kicked him out of the bedroom. He went down to the room that shared a wall with our bedroom and coughed the entire night. When he and his staff got up in the morning, there was no concept of quiet voices. If we could have fallen back to sleep they made it impossible. The office staff said the owner and his wife were both sick and she would mention to him the fact that my daughter and I got no sleep. The breakfast was arranged by the office staff on our first day. When we got to breakfast at 9 there were only four pieces of raisin bread toast left, no danish, no fruit, a few hard boiled eggs and coffee and tea...There was also cheerios and granola but very different from what was written about in the reviews. I was hoping for a good night sleep the next night and could not believe it when the owner started coughing again in the next room....I was almost going to bang on the wall but I did not want to upset my daughter. At 8 o'clock the next morning the owner and his staff started yelling about something...It was truly unbelievable. I have to say though, it was clear that the owners wife was better because she made a hot dish that was a ham wonton and there were other items available not available on Friday. The owner was well aware that we were very unhappy and I was surprised he would not have apologized or even offer something in return for a terrible stay. My daughter had previously stayed elsewhere in St Helena and loved it. Her concierge had given her some wonderful advice about wineries and eating establishments. When I had inquired at our office, I had brought more information with me than they provided. I could not even get a recommendation from a local owner about favorite spots to visit and that too was a disappointment. Overall, know what you are getting. If you get a room away from the office and the road I would imagine it was much quieter and therefore the price would be worth it. We did have a wonderful dinner at the Calistoga Kitchen. I would highly recommend it, it made our stay in the area much...

There is so much to say about staying at this amazing little hideaway in Calistoga Iโll try to keep it short. First, the staff is amazing; the husband and wife team that runs the front office and the entire facility do a great job at keeping it clean and friendly. We were treated amazingly and really enjoyed having a couple of conversations with the folks at the front.
Letโs talk about the room and the location. First of all, if you need to get away somewhere and make it easy to walk anywhere downtown, this is the place. The rooms are extremely well-kept and clean. Most of the hotel is covered by shade because of the trees, and they have an outside breakfast/wine area patio which is really nice. The room itself was amazing, and the bed was extremely comfortable, and pretty much anything you need they have there. Weโre fortunate enough to get one with a hot tub, and it was extremely relaxing, and we really enjoyed it and appreciated it.
The pool and the outside area are very well-kept. The pool has a small picnic area, so if you want to bring something to eat, you can with the huge tree in the yard. The pool is well-kept, the spa was nice and warm, and of course, thereโs a location at the edge of town away from all the hustle and bustle. Thank you so much to the staff and everyone there that made our stay amazing you guys are awesome, and we will be back...
ย ย ย Read moreWe just returned from a fantastic week's stay at the Inn on Pine. The Inn is a 15-room motel in a U shape. The rooms are larger than most motels/hotels and include three chairs - two in front of the bed, and one in the back.||The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Normally, I don't like the continental breakfast that hotels serve, but the Inn had two different types of warm muffins that were the bomb.||We also like the vibe of the Inn. It's family owned and everyone there is very friendly. PG&E had a couple of power outages while we were there and they took $50 off our bill for the inconvenience - that was a nice touch.||When we first checked in, I went to look at the pool and spa. There were large numbers of leaves in both, and when I reported that to the person in the front office, she mentioned that the pool service had been there that morning. Well, they came back because after returning from dinner, both were spotless and like that the rest of the week.||Calistoga is also a fun town to stay in. You can walk from the Inn to anywhere downtown within a few minutes. Overall, we enjoyed our time and highly recommend the...
