I hate to write this…. But I think businesses do need to be accountable to their customers so here goes. I went to Runyans in early November inquiring about getting two rings sized. I had a special trip coming up and needed them done within a week. Runyans quoted $400 for one and $200 for the other. Seemed expensive but I was on a time crunch so I agreed. When I got the rings back in a week, they had BOTH been sized incorrectly. I was so bummed- I wasn’t able to wear either for my trips. I returned to the store a couple weeks later and asked them to fix the sizing. They apologized and admitted their mistake and said they would resize. I returned a week or so later and they were WRONG AGAIN!!!!!! one of the rings was close so I accepted that one. A week later I called and they said my ring still wasn’t done but would be done the following week. Finally after about 6 weeks total, I got my ring back. I asked for some consideration or refund regarding the price I paid ($600 for rings to be sized quickly turned into 6 weeks, multiple wasted trips and calls ect and rings that were weaker from multiple sidings). They gave me the option of $100 check or a $100 credit!!!! Absolutely the worse service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve worked with many local Jewelers and almost all my jewelery is custom- I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service and a flat unwillingness to make it right. Don’t waste your time or your money...
Read moreMy wife & I recently moved to Vancouver, WA, & needed to find a good jeweler so my wife could take her wedding ring ( we have been married 53 yrs) in to get a second opinion of what repairs were needed. We had previously taken it to a jeweler in Northern CA who gave us an estimate of $800, stating that all the prongs needed to be replaced. I did some research & saw that Runyan’s was highly rated & well thought of on local social media. We took her ring to them & found the reviews & comments on the social media to be absolutely correct. They are very knowledgeable, very friendly. After examining the ring the jeweler reported that only a few prongs needed repair, costing...
Read moreI went to check prices on ring sizing. Great service, very friendly. They said to come by and were able to clean and check it out on the spot! Unfortunately, my ring couldn’t be sized since the metal wasn’t something they could work with, (no fault of theirs! Cheap ring) but they cleaned my ring, and my other engagement ring free of charge! They let me know of ring care and of loose stones to watch out for. I was told ring cleans are always free! Stone tightening was a very reasonable price ($35 or close to that). Great customer experience!
