I discovered A Little Love Bridal by the Sea at a local wedding expo soon after my engagement in November 2023. In January 2024, I had my first appointment with Crystal Reynoso at the shop in which I tried on multiple gowns. She was very kind to me as well as my family & friends that were with me. I said yes to a dress at that appointment. A week or so went by afterwards & I kept thinking about another dress I loved just as much as the initial one I said yes to. I called Crystal & asked if it was too late to change my mind & choose a different dress. She was very kind & said it was no problem. (My wedding wasn't until April 2025 so there was plenty of time.) Crystal ended up creating a custom dress to make one as close to what I had in mind by taking the top of one dress (the one I initially said yes to) & combining it with the bottom of the one I couldn't stop thinking about. While some changes needed to be made during the creation of it as the seamstress actually putting it together works out of the area, Crystal was very on top of it with making sure the seamstress was provided with the details she knew I wanted incorporated in the dress. When the dress arrived, Crystal notified me right away. Once it arrived, I decided I wanted it to be more puffy. Crystal was quick to have a detachable skirt made to help give it the look I was wanting. She gave me two different options with detachable skirts, both of which worked great with my dress. It wasn't noticeable that the detachable skirt wasn't actually sewn onto the main dress. I ended up being very happy with my custom wedding dress & loved how it ended up turning out. I'm very happy with my overall experience with this bridal shop & highly recommend Crystal to help you create the dress of your dreams! My garter was from her shop too which was perfect! Thank you...
Read moreI am writing this review to help future brides navigate their experience with this business and avoid unnecessary stress when ordering a custom gown. Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend that anyone considering a custom dress here take extra precautions to protect themselves.
Carefully review the contract before signing – Ensure that every detail of your custom dress, including measurements, fabric, design elements, and completion timeframe, is clearly written in the contract. Do not rely on any verbal confirmations. The contract is actually through the designer and not A Little Love Bridal By the Sea.
Request all communication in writing – If you have any questions about the custom design, timeline, or changes, make sure everything is documented in writing (emails or texts) rather than discussed over the phone. This provides clear records in case there are any misunderstandings or delays.
Clarify who is contractually responsible for your gown – The actual contract is with the designer, not A Little Love Bridal By the Sea. Based on my experience, I recommend asking for direct confirmation from the designer regarding any adjustments or customizations rather than relying solely on Ms. Reynoso for updates.
I am sharing these recommendations to help future brides have the smoothest possible experience with their custom gown and ensure they are fully informed before making...
Read moreMy experience with Crystal will always be part of what I treasure about my wedding day. She did my makeup, hair, and helped prepare my dress for the day. Besides being an immaculate professional, she also such a wonderful, genuine person, and my morning before the ceremony was spent with laughter and warmth from her and my best friends. I felt so lucky to have this be my experience the morning before my wedding.
I gave her an initial concept for the makeup and she brought it to life, then did makeup trial runs before the day so that each specific detail was locked in place. My best friend who is getting married next year kept mentioning how great Crystal was and wishing to work with her for her wedding next year. Cannot...
