We waited an hour and 40 minutes for a table of 5. Originally we were told the wait would be at least 25 minutes. Their issue is that that have no system for keeping track of the parties waiting to be seated. At various points we informed all three staff members working that we were waiting for a table for 5. My friend and I made a point to get a drink inside, while our friends waited outside (because there was not enough standing room inside), so that our party would not be forgotten. We watched two tables that would fit our party open up, but groups which arrived later than us were seated ahead of us. When we told staff that we were waiting they seemed surprised and told us they both couldn’t see us (even though we had been standing in the middle of the restaurant) and that they forgot we were a party of 5 instead of 2. At that point we had been waiting for an hour so we offered a solution where two of us sat at the bar and the other three took a table, but we were told that would mess up their system, and that a table was just about to open up (it was not). Later we saw a party of seven seated at combined four person and two person table. We were also told we could not have been seated there because they needed it for the seven people, who had arrived 30 minutes after us. Finally we were crammed into a 3 person table in the corner and the short waiter with dyed blonde hair refused to acknowledge any error on his part, even though it was his mistake for forgetting about us, and his fault for putting no effort into seating us somewhere else after his mistake...

This place is one of the best pubs I have enjoyed in the states. It properly embodies all the best features of pub-culture with excellent food and drinks. We ordered the Shepard’s Pie and the Fish & Chips, both were excellent! The Guinness was good and the ginger beer had a proper kick of spice to it rather than a sweet aftertaste.

The Shepard’s Pie was proper with lamb rather than beef. The lamb was tender and well-cooked, the vegetables were coarsely chopped and the mash potatoes were perfect. It did not have the typical vegetables you would expect in a Shepard’s pie (carrots and peas), rather, it was thick-cut hearty root vegetables that tied the dish together really well and would hold you through the cold months of winter. This is one of the best Shepard’s Pie’s that we have enjoyed this side of the pond.

The Fish & Chips arrived in a bundle of newspaper (cute) and was perfectly fried fresh cod. While I wish the chips were double or triple fried (personal favorite), the overall dish was great with fantastic homemade tartar sauce that offered a bit of sweetness to the savory dish. Really, I could not get enough of the tartar sauce.

The decor is well thought out with even a nod to Arthurian legends and local artistry tying the community together. There was a live band when we arrived playing tasteful Irish music, the golden retriever was a nice touch too. We will definitely return here as we loved the vibe, food,...

A classic local Irish pub with an array of comfort foods and great drafts.

Came here on a Friday during an off-peak hour and found the place quite bustling with locals and tourists. The word among the locals was that Druid pours one of the best draft Guinness beers in the city. While it wasn't comparable to the ones I've tried in Dublin, it was still velvety smooth.

Food-wise, Druid championed hearty and generous portions. The lightly-seasoned fried calamari especially stood out with its sheer size of the portion - undoubtedly a steal for its price. However, my favorite of the meal was the Oxtail Soup. It was a seasonal gem that's only served in the colder months, and it was replete with two huge oxtail bones and savory broth that beautifully harmonized with the slight tang from the spinach.

The Shepherd's Pie and Druid Fish & Chips leaned more towards the traditional side without much flair, but they were still good choices with the beer.

For anyone seeking an authentic Irish pub experience, complete with classic dishes, great beer, and a spirited environment, Druid is an undeniable gem. Highly recommend...

Visiting from out of town and this is genuinely the best restaurant I have ever been to. I randomly picked this after seeing their shepard’s pie pictures and knew i just had to come here. First off the atmosphere is incredible, it is a cozy Irish Pub with the best wait staff. Our server was always on top of everything and the food came out at a great pace. Best fries and curry sauce to dip them in, the oysters were SO fresh and delicious, the beef stew and shepherds pie left us absolutely speechless. I cannot say more great things about this place!! Lastly, the best part, their Guinness has the absolute most perfect pour. by the time we were finishing up, they had live music which made the entire experience even better. I would fly back just to watch here again.
