Hearth and Harrow — Local services in Camden

Hearth and Harrow is one of my absolute favorite stores in Camden. It is perfect for gifts for loved ones (and for myself)! Every time I walk into the store I feel a sense of calm- it is just beautiful in there! I never feel pressure to make a purchase but always find treasures including the softest hoodies and t-shirts with creative designs, gorgeous smelling candles, colorful matches, incredible bandanas, and so much more. I appreciate the owner's attention to detail and craft, in addition to the staff's warm, welcoming energy. Not to mention it is a must see for any of our visitors. This store is lovely but the store clerk was very rude to my 12-year-old daughter. Instead of barking “don’t open that” it would have been much kinder for her to offer my daughter the sample. My daughter was very upset. She is a very respectful child and has never had problem behavior in stores. There is no reason to be unkind to children. It also costs you business to do so. I was planning on purchasing something but certainly did not. I’m sorry for this encounter because I would have loved to shop here. Our first experience at this adorable boutique did not disappoint, with its many beautiful handmade items to choose from and friendly staff! We got a super soft and cozy kid’s hoodie with a beautiful octopus print for our 9 year old nephew (it’s now his favorite, just in time for the cooler weather!). We also got a couple of unique houseplants along with two gorgeous macrame plant hangers, which will be perfect in our living room! We purchased some adorable small gifts for loved ones that seemed to be waiting just for us to scoop up! Could have left with one of everything in there... Can’t wait to visit this sweet coastal...
