Five Below — Local services in Canton Township

Don’t pay with with Apple Cash here. I desperately needed to do a return for a purchase made through Apple Cash. The young white lady manager came and asked me to provide the card used for purchase. I told her I used apple cash. She seemed unsure of the process but told me to try and tap and “see” if it worked. The machine said approved but no money showed. Again, I needed my money back now. I told her I would have preferred cash if my money would be tied up especially since with apple cash, you can’t really contact support or dispute transactions. She suddenly became an Apple Pay expert stating if it didn’t come back she would give me a store credit. I don’t want a store credit - im due my money back. She stated that regardless she wouldn’t be able to give cash back because I paid with a visa. Then she said she wouldn’t be able to give cash back because I didn’t pay with a physical card. Clearly she doesn’t know what she’s talking about and just wanted me to leave. I pray for all sake my money shows in my balance within 2...

I definitely feel like they can do better with customer service and everyone should be treated equally rather you are Black, White, Blue, or Purple.

If i can give 0 star to this store i will, I went shopping today ready to checkout they don’t let you do the self checkout if u are not white they keep stand and acting that they are helping you wish is not there being a racist to others. I really struggled with the rating on this one. The store is mainly self check out, which I didn't realize. However, the lady running the front was amazing, patient, and so helpful. The loss of one star was mainly due to the somewhat disheveled appearance of the store, as well as the fact that Five Below is no longer $5 and below.
